Fighting my socks!

Thank you both, OH has alredy told him (while snuggle on the flor with him) that he has big shoes to fill

I'd forgoten how delicate they are and am frightened of hurting him, like I was with Ern being on our bed, till you lot said not to worry. Goingto have him in our room at night -well see how it goes--

We have a visiting older kitten and would happily of had one the same age as him but got overruled . He will grow soon enough

Visiting cat is barred for a while but hopefully they can be friends when vaccinations are complete

Enjoy the kitten snuggles. He'll be a magnificent beast one day.

Well we have a development.

OH and I had really wanted to call him Malcolm and even though we have been working on him for a while he vetoed it. He's now been playing with him and has come round 🤣

I was just about to sort his insurance as well

I used to have a ginger-haired boss called Malcolm. I think it's a lovely name for a ginger cat!

Well th discussion went on. DS isnt as keen on Malcom but likes Malc/Malkie which OH doesnt.

So he's been insured with the name Colin Malcolm

Is it just me that's been really lucky (so far) or are fleas not really an issue this summer?

None of mine, both outdoor and indoor, seem to have them

Mine are fine. Ginger stray comes in through the kitchen window now as soon as he hears me feeding them.

@RedKittyCat, Ray did crop up but as it was my birth fathers name was vetoed. I'm a Hard House Raver and very nearly called my son Farley then considered it for Ernie

@EachandEveryone he was from a litter of four other three had gone, someone who works at my OH's work. It seems a hotbed of cat lovers, one ladt has just got a Ragdoll kitten. It was her who found my Mitsi cat on the road and moved him which we were grateful for. OH's boss (who clashes..ahem) came and said he was sorry to hear about our Ernie, OH said yes sorry about your cat as well, were the boss gor emotional and got out pictures of his Miane Coon,and said he's not ready for another.

He spent the night on the bed with us mostly snuggle into my side. I woke up sweating and had to move him sohe then snuggled under my arm. I was woken at 5.15 with him playing and biting though OH said he'd woken before

He is a live wire, seems very happy but I am concerned he hasnt eaten. I bought the kitten food the same as he was on (Applaws) but he's not bothered at all. I changed to a diffrent bowl. He has drunk ans poo-ed ans wee-ed yesterday and we-ed this morning.

He's just going off to sleep in a (different bed) and if he doesnt eat when he gets up will go to the vets as I think they do samples.

But any suggestions welcome

Is that a baby chair? Goodness me they must be cat mad if the are feeding applaws! Do you reckon they will get her neutered? I font know what to suggest as the adult versions of that dont have taurine put in it. Daphne was on Royal Canin when she came but i soon switched. Not many of them do kitten food. Are you on zooplus? They have a few on there and if you are going to use dry as well. Purizon is a really good one and it comes in kitten age. Sainsburys own wet is grainfree and it comes in kitten. Mine liked Lilys Kitchen. Now they are on AGAIL i cant fight with them i just make sure their dry is 80% meat.

Yes the chair is DS's old moon chair I made a cover for. Ernie took it over until he got too big, so got it out for Colin

He had been in and turned around in his bought bed. He seems to like the teddy bear mattress cover I cut up at the moment, but it's early days. You know how fickle they are

Well we found the ideal bowl and now DS got him to eat from the proper bowl
