Little Miss Boudica has been obsessed with the toilet since she came home, I tried flushing it when she was looking over the edge and even that didn't phase her.

Today I heard a huge clatter followed by a little wet Boody shoot into the living room. She had taken a dip in the toilet but luckily got herself out.

Here she is following the shower she needed afterwards!

I'm going to be a lot more careful about closing the bathroom door from now on.

TheLongRider, he was a stray for about 10 years, so now he's indulging in dossing relaxing at every opportunity!

Today, mainly sleeping on window sills that are too narrow and sitting in boxes...Smile. We have had her for a week and 2 days so it’s lovely to see her out from under the bed!!!

Started the day by leaving me a tiny, headless mouse in the kitchen. Had a good nap in his basket on top of the wardrobe, then has done his usual of appearing for a good chat and a roll around at our feet every now and again between sleeps. Unusually he didn’t try to join us for a dog walk (just as well, he tends to freak out after 1/2 a mile). Back outside now it’s dusk, probably to wander down to the nearest farm to find his pal for a play before supper. Oh, supper time already, he’s appeared at the window.

Mr Darcy likes to jump in the bath while I'm brushing my teeth. Heaven forbid I ever visit the bathroom on my own. I clearly need accompanying at all times and it is his job to protect me from any bathroom related danger.

Mr Darcy has a very expressive face. Does he shout at you too?

Snoozing the day away upstairs while some very noisy building work was finished outside Blush

I felt awful but it needed doing and apart from being slightly indignant at not being let out first thing, they've been as good as gold!

I had the audacity to water Dexters bush, not realising he was under it. So he chased the hosepipe. Then came in for a play of the banana

@TheLongRider No. He isn't actually very vocal at all. We have had him exactly 2 weeks today so still getting to know him. He is a character mind.

Haribo brought his friend into the garden, probably to show him the bird feeder. I thought I'd see if friend liked Haribo's new toy which he isn't fussed with. A flapping fish stuffed with cat nip. Friend was interested but more excited about the cat nip which I sprinkled on the ground for him. He was ecstatic and Haribo sat looking at him with a wtf look on his face.

Here are my beasties today. Sassy the blue point raggie with the only toy she is interested in (a homemade pipecleaner pompom thingy). Falkor my norwegian forest kitten is just the sweetest. Dexter my adopted old man of a mismarked ragdoll.

Freya is very sweet @RunRaggedAlready I do love raggies how old?

RunRaggedAlready · 26/07/2020 20:45

@OohKittens your cats are all gorgeous! Freya is 13 weeks. She's a blue point like Sassy. DS12 has been up half the night looking after her so they are both very tired today, bless them. Hoping for a more settled second night!

OohKittens · 26/07/2020 21:23

@RunRaggedAlready My kitten has been home 3wks today he is 16wks. I slept downstairs with him until the raggies were completely accepting of him and I was bloody shattered. He has the run of the house with them now at night thank goodness.
Is she your first ragdoll I can give you some advice regarding them if you like Smile

Xmasfairy86 · 27/07/2020 08:01

Helping mrxmas fix the bathroom. He’s determined to get down the waste pipe hole in the corner 🙈🤦🏽‍♀️ Which is why that board is there currently.

@OohKittens, yes first ragdoll and would love any tips you could share, thank you! SmileWe had a more peaceful second night although she still woke up both kids (not us though!) but resettled again quicker. Happily exploring the house today and monopolising our laps whilst we try to work from home.

@RunRaggedAlready her face is so sweet! Ragdolls are more grazers, so it's better for them to have biscuits of decent quality left down all the time. They are also very prone to hairballs, if you plant some cat grass (£3ish from amazon) this helps them bring it up. Otherwise you will find she will try to eat bits of plastic, string etc and this can cause a blockage. Ragdolls can't be left to roam outside they really don't have the instincts of moggies. But they can be trained to a lead. My boy walks on the lead better than some dogs. He gets very excited when he hears it. When you get her spayed make sure you tell them you want a regular spay not down her middle. Our vets almost did that to our girl without checking with us, it was lucky that the nurse phoned to ask me. The reason they do that is some people who show their neuters don't like to wait for the coat the return to normal colours after a normal spay. The patch on the side will be a different colour for about a year. I'm guessing because you got her at 13wks she is a registered pedigree with papers and health tested parents?

Deathraystare · 27/07/2020 19:39

really sure what he's up to here.

Well, of course, he is very very busy and not to be disturbed!
