I had a feeling something wasn't right. And her cheek looked swollen. There is puss coming out of it. I would have taken her to the vet on Saturday as I thought there was so right not quite right, but we had a phone ca instead. Video consultation didn't work. Arghh. I'm on a 12 hour shift tomorrow.

Did you hold her back?.

Wolfiefan · 17/04/2020 14:21

I have a pump action water pistol I bought to deal with the cat that attached mine and me too. Sod lockdown. Shall I bring it over!

Toddlerteaplease · 17/04/2020 15:14

@Fluffycloudland77 she's under house arrest. So she didn't get near it!

Am pleased she's home. The audacity of attacker cat turning up tho!

Toddlerteaplease · 17/04/2020 15:27

I know. I've not seen her since last week! Snorg keeps waking to the door for a look. And seems a bit jumpy.

Poor baby. Please get a spray bottle or water sprayer to give the other cat the message. Its not cruel and helps to avoid issues.

Inarightpickleandpreserve · 17/04/2020 16:41

Ah sending much love to the magnificent Snorg! I love seeing pics of her and Cheddar, they are just adorable and always make me smile. So glad she’s ok

iklboo · 17/04/2020 16:43

I might be a bit stir crazy. My two were kicking off and I told Jazzy to go to his room.

Toddlerteaplease · 17/04/2020 16:45

Yes. I will get one, though it was Snorg who went for it!

OP posts:
Allergictoironing · 17/04/2020 17:16

She only went for it because it was invading HER territory. She was being a brave and fearless guardian of her territory, her sister and her slave and should be applauded for it - though not applauded for coming off worse of course!

Toddlerteaplease · 17/04/2020 18:09

I've let her out for a walk round. In the hope that it will calm her down a bit. Cheddar is still following her around. It's very sweet. They've not been separated since she arrived. I wonder if the atropine drops are making her feel a bit disoriented as it makes your vision blurred.

Very glad Snorg is home too - she has been very brave. I agree with inarightpickleandpreserve, Snorg and Cheddar are very photogenic.

Toddlerteaplease · 17/04/2020 19:08

My sister says cheddar is a pig with her face on backwards! I really should disown her. (Sister, not cheddar)

Wolfiefan · 17/04/2020 19:08

Of course you should! How rude!! Shock

Fluffycloudland77 · 17/04/2020 19:11

😯 Are you sure she’s your sister? There wasn’t some awful swapped at birth incident and a cat person is living with a non cat household somewhere.

Toddlerteaplease · 17/04/2020 19:48

Hmm. I'm not sure! I don't think Snorg is too happy that I've washed all her bedding. She won't go anywhere near any of her beds!

iklboo · 17/04/2020 20:09

How very dare your sister @Toddlerteaplease !

Windyatthebeach · 17/04/2020 20:14

Thought maybe the invalid would appreciate this..

Toddlerteaplease · 17/04/2020 20:45

Ha ha. She's been very hyperactive since she got home. It's a bit odd. Eating and drinking, coming for head bumps. But will not settle down and I don't think she's slept at all.

OP posts:
Fluffycloudland77 · 17/04/2020 20:52

Are her pupils dilated?.

Toddlerteaplease · 17/04/2020 21:06

The bad eye is. But only because of the atropine drops. Not noticed that the other is.

OP posts:
Fluffycloudland77 · 17/04/2020 21:08

How odd. Maybe the change of routines unsettled her more than she let on.

Toddlerteaplease · 17/04/2020 21:46

Possibly, or after a week of being cooped up In a kennel at the vet, she wants to be on the move. Last time she was at the vet, she was so ill she didn't care. But this time she wasn't. She's sat on my knee and is very purry and affectionate.

OP posts:
Toddlerteaplease · 18/04/2020 09:32

She seems to have calmed down. I woke up with her snuggled under my arm. She then woke me up by shouting at me! I think she's turned in to Cheddar!

OP posts:
Allergictoironing · 18/04/2020 10:16

She may also be restless because she knows the intruder is still around, so she has to be alert to protect her home from him?
