I had a feeling something wasn't right. And her cheek looked swollen. There is puss coming out of it. I would have taken her to the vet on Saturday as I thought there was so right not quite right, but we had a phone ca instead. Video consultation didn't work. Arghh. I'm on a 12 hour shift tomorrow.

Most of my colleagues are cat people, she'd be very popular!

The vets are completely in love with her. Because she's such a sweetheart. I was going to Collect her today but they are worried that her eye is leaking again. So they wanted to discuss with the vet who first saw her. SadI was so looking forward to having her home. And I can't go and visit her because of the virus.

Oh bless her, poor Snorg. More healing purrs from Harry

Fluffycloudland77 · 16/04/2020 12:26

Well eye injuries can deteriorate quickly can’t they? I don’t blame them really.

Last thing she needs is a failed discharge.

Wolfiefan · 16/04/2020 12:28

Oh bless her. Better to have her being closely observed and treated ASAP than bring her home and have to worry when you go to work. Hope she’s home soon.

amazedmummy · 16/04/2020 12:35

So sorry to hear about snorg. Eyes can be nasty.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 16/04/2020 12:52

Oh, Snorg! Your first fight and look what happens. She is being well looked after and adored Toddler. That's the main thing. I know you must miss her though. Flowers.

Toddlerteaplease · 16/04/2020 13:14

Yes. I was so looking forward to seeing her. But all that matters is what is best for her. When I had t take Fatty there with her jaw, i was really surprised when the nurse mentioned Snorg. She said "oh she is famous here, because she's such a sweet personality and because she survived."

That's brilliant!

Vinorosso74 · 16/04/2020 16:55

Aw that's lovely! Hope Snorg's eye gets better so she can get home soon.

Wolfiefan · 16/04/2020 18:45

Oh that’s so sweet!!

Toddlerteaplease · 16/04/2020 19:48

Apparently the vet who admitted her, turns out to be their ophthalmology expert. So she's seeing him again tomorrow morning. At least she managed to get admitted when the most appropriate person was on!

Timing is everything isn’t it?

Love the card.

Defiantly41 · 16/04/2020 20:02

Purrs and kisses to Snorg xx

nettie434 · 16/04/2020 20:46

Good that Snorg is being seen by their ophthalmology expert. Harry always looks so adorable but I am even more impressed with him now that he has sent a card. Hope she is back home soon with you.

Toddlerteaplease · 16/04/2020 21:31

He's a very clever cat. I'm dying to see what she looks like with her face clipped. When Maia had jaw surgery they kept warning me that she'd had half her face shaved. As many people found it upsetting. I'm afraid I just laughed at her. She looked like the phantom of the opera!

She's coming home today!! Her eye has reinflated and there is no sign of infection.

Fluffycloudland77 · 17/04/2020 08:44

Oh that is good news. Has she got meds to bring with her?.

Toddlerteaplease · 17/04/2020 08:59

Yes. Needs to carry on the drops for 10 days. It the antibiotic has been reduced to 3 times a day. Which is more practical. If I'm at work she wouldn't have got 4 doses in anyway. Think the bill is about £750z so not as bad as I thought.

I’m so glad she’s coming home. That’s great news.

Toddlerteaplease · 17/04/2020 12:41

She's home!! Currently having a wander round the house. Cheddar is following her around! She seems quite happy. She's on house arrest!

Yay Snorg! High-paw greetings from my boys.

Toddlerteaplease · 17/04/2020 13:31

And typical. The cat that caused this has just reappeared back in the garden!
