If anyone's struggling to find stuff for their Furry Overlords, I've just ordered Leroy his dry food (and some litter to get free delivery) from a company called Vetsend. Bit cheaper than other places too tbh.

Yep, they are. I think that schemes only for people laid off. They won’t lay dh off because if he’s not there the salesman would have to get off their arses and do some work instead of watching YouTube clips all day and perving over the receptionists & cheating on their wives.

I don’t think he’s entitled to sick pay again after being off ill last year.

I'm in aftersales but yes, sales are all the same. I wore small holes fishnets to work once and I swear the entire sales team got no work done

Cars sound much more exciting than working in the media. Which for all the glam telly programmes set in publishing is just tufty-haired women doing 17 hour days and shouting Hi-res of a Persimmon!! Now!!!! with wild eyes.

Mind you, the lunch breaks are cracking. No less than two Michelin stars on the three days a year you actually leave the office. No men, unless they're the owners ie needy millionaires. No, believe me, you simply can't fancy them.

Planting lilies - presumably you didn't know they are toxic to cats? That said, a neighbour with cats of her own kindly gave me a poinsettia plant a couple of years back (also toxic to cats).
