New thread!
I’ve found two so much more hard work (and expensive) than one, Queen

Iceland do them frozen, 4 for £1.50. Sublime.

Mind you, I can't believe MIL is interfering in your marriage like that. Wicked. How would she like it if FIL were to wake up to a chocolate croissant?

ClientQ · 17/04/2020 19:42

Ollie just saved himself from falling by hooking one claw into my arm (fully into the skin) and dangling his entire weight off it
He seems confused by my wailing. OWW

Justonedayatatime11 · 17/04/2020 19:47

Client Charlie likes to do that. All 10kg of him Hmm. Last week he managed to give me 2 new piercings in each ear. Bloody hurts!

swampytiggaa · 17/04/2020 20:25

All lovely names, Swampy. Poor Christopher though, having to put up with four sisters!
And poor bullied little Ollie, Queen. Where’s Paws when he needs him 🤷🏼‍♀️

Paws saw Limpy, did side eye and ran away. He doesn't like it either I don't blame him

nettie434 · 17/04/2020 20:50

They are all gorgeous names swampytiggaa. They all go together well too in terms of style. I am laughing at Papergirl1968’s comment about Christopher having to put up with 4 sisters. With 3 female cats too, the women are in charge in your house! Perhaps you could get round your DH’s no more kittens rule by getting some boys?

Supersimkin2 · 17/04/2020 20:51

Poor Queen, that must sting a bit. Limpy is a psycho.

Fluffycloudland77 · 17/04/2020 20:53

At 10kg you’re lucky to have any ears left @Justonedayatatime11.

nettie434 · 17/04/2020 20:53

I’ve got to say ClientQueen, Limpy looks well ‘ard. What a meanie frightening Ollie and Paws.

Justonedayatatime11 · 17/04/2020 21:33

The monsters had day old chicks today for the first time in nearly a year. They were VERY happy! Grin

Alive day old chicks?

Justonedayatatime11 · 17/04/2020 21:39

Papergirl no no no! Dead and frozen

ClientQ · 17/04/2020 21:41

@Justonedayatatime11 do you raw feed? Ollie likes raw Smile mostly turkey mince and chicken wings

Papergirl1968 · 17/04/2020 21:43

Oh I see. I couldn’t cope with even dead ones though.

OP posts:
Fluffycloudland77 · 17/04/2020 21:45

Don’t worry @Papergirl1968 feeding live vertebrates is illegal here.

There was a girl on YouTube I saw feed live mice to her savannah. No need for that imo.

Dh used to watch her channel before that. The fact she was blonde with huge boobs had no influence on him, obvs.

Justonedayatatime11 · 17/04/2020 21:49

Client as much as I can, yes. Day old chicks, quail, minced rabbit, chicken wings and raw steak. My 'normal' cats turn their noses up and prefer Dreamies, but the Savs LOVE the raw. It's really good for them too

coastergirl · 18/04/2020 12:26

Walter brought a dead mouse home last night. He was very cross when I wouldn't let him bring it in, stood at the door yelling at me. The baby thought it was hilarious. Walter is the baby's absolute favourite thing in the world. He stalks him all over the house, trying to grab tight little fistfuls of cat.

ClientQ · 18/04/2020 13:47

@coastergirl Ollie would LOVE that. I wasn't sure how he would be with children. Next door came in to feed him one day, child bustles in, picks ollie up under her arm, shoved him on the sofa and spent 15 mins petting him. He went all limp and drooling Confused
Even I can't pick him up!

Fluffycloudland77 · 18/04/2020 13:59

Walter will know he’s a baby. You’d never get away with grabbing handfuls of fur.

You’d soon be put straight.

Supersimkin2 · 18/04/2020 20:38

The darling baby has a lifetime of happiness in store - the earlier you learn the joy of cat, the better. Walter is a mentor of wisdom it seems.

TheSparklyPussycat · 18/04/2020 21:10

I can remember pulling our cat's tail when I was a toddler and getting scratched. Made no difference, I still pulled her tail.

coastergirl · 18/04/2020 23:56

He's so incredibly patient with him. A while ago baby managed to grab a handful of cat without me realising (we're much more watchful now). Poor Walter just looked at me imploringly until I realised and released him. He's such a love.

I was brought up as a dog lover but my love for cats prevailed eventually.
