I’d rather it’d had been fifa now Sad

Supersimkin2 · 26/03/2020 22:26

Does he have to? He's got petcare duties.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 26/03/2020 22:29

I understand why. He usually does stuff with his dad, but his dad's got shit wifi and no computer or PS4. He doesn't mind not linking up with his mates when he's going to the gym, swimming, out for a meal etc, but of course he can't do that now. So he just sits in his room and watches YouTube. And he doesn't want to do that, which I think is fair enough for a 15yr old if I'm honest.

Leroy will be pleased though 'cause he'll get two walks 😂.

Supersimkin2 · 26/03/2020 22:42

Totes fair enough, that's dispiriting at 55 let alone 15.

You can have another night off cooking, I say.

nettie434 · 26/03/2020 23:20

People don't take convalescence seriously these days - you need a chaise longue, some Rhenish wine, and a slim volume of sonnets. Then lie there for days being waited on hand and foot.

Omg Supersimkin2, could anyone do convalescence better than that? Mind you, now that Capn V’s supper is lobster tails, you have a reputation to live up to Grin

Hope recovery continues Papergirl.

Ollie looked like he was going for a crap and then changed his mind.

Cap'n V is gorgeous! That apple belly!

ClientQueen · 27/03/2020 10:46

It was the car that went past, he comes back inside if he sees one Grin

YetAnotherSpartacus · 27/03/2020 10:53

Smart boy!

TheLongRider · 27/03/2020 11:16

I love his tracks in the grass. He a creature of habit.

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/03/2020 11:47

Capn V has such a lovely coat, I’m sure he looks fluffier than he did.

Ollie is indeed a creature of habit.

Papergirl1968 · 27/03/2020 11:49

Cap V really is a handsome lad.
And dear little Ollie and his precious tracks, so sweet.
I feel pretty normal, thanks, Nettie, just a bit tired if I do too much so small tasks are interspersed with resting. Looking forward to seeing my mum again tomorrow after more than a fortnight of keeping away - she’s nearly 87 with dementia so needs meals cooked, help with housework etc.

Capn V has a series of new grooming tools in his home-based personal salon, which may account for his fashionably bouffant look.

I am desperate to give him a Trump combover.

Papergirl1968 · 27/03/2020 15:13

Did you see the cats given Trump combovers in the Daily Mail yesterday? Google it if not Grin

I've just queued 90 min for a bottle of wine. Loads of rozzers in Black Marias whizzed past to catch sunbathers in the park.

New Orleans, 1920. Must take up the trumpet.

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/03/2020 17:15

You should have bought two.

ClientQueen · 27/03/2020 17:54

Anyone want a black void cat? He is being VERY annoying today. Following me round the house making mournful yowling noises. Demands food 10 times a day and no, not THAT food, the OTHER one. His bowl is empty as there's a gap in the middle and the weather is too hot and too cold and too sunny. And the neighbours are using HIS garden
Lord give me strength

Supersimkin2 · 27/03/2020 17:54

plus the free one with Dine In.

coastergirl · 27/03/2020 19:59

Hello all, checking in from my crazy life. Did the big part of the move very last minute on Wednesday when the removals firm were able to fit me in. Thank goodness, as moving house is now not allowed! Spent all week going backwards and forwards between the two houses with car loads of stuff, all with no help and a five year old in tow. I'm shattered!

Could do with some cat advice please? Walter and Bertie are still at the old house. It's literally round the corner, takes one minute to walk there. I'm checking in regularly to feed them and let them in/out. I'm now pretty much ready to bring them to the new house, and missing them a lot! Problem is, Bert is very freaked out by all this. He's very timid. When I was there yesterday he was hiding under the kitchen cupboard. Bolted outside and I haven't seen him since. My partner (sort of) called this morning on his way to work and did see him, but he wouldn't come in. I went a while ago and was there for at least half an hour but didn't see him. I need to catch them both to bring them here! Any tips? Currently thinking to go there tomorrow and sit in the garden with ham, tuna and catnip. Lure him in and gradually into the house.

Hope you're all keeping well. Cap'n V is gorgeous. Leroy on his walk really made me smile, and I just love Ollie. And the rest of them!

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/03/2020 20:26

It’s the lack of furniture, freaks them out. Get them tm.

What an ordeal for you.

Supersimkin2 · 27/03/2020 20:53

That is a week of Churchillian achievement Coaster. You've done it, you're in. Astonishing. Flippin well done.

Take a kettle, tuna, dreamies and something that smells of you and hang out in old house tomorrow.

coastergirl · 28/03/2020 04:12

Thank you both for the advice. I will do that. Just want my boys here and it'll be lovely. I was absolutely miserable in that house for the whole two years. It's amazing to be out!

@Supersimkin2 I love your way with words! I am bloody proud of what I've achieved this week, to be fair. There have been many, many times I've wanted to hide in the corner and sack it all off, but I'm so glad I didn't. Fresh start for me and my boys (2 human, 2 feline).

Supersimkin2 · 28/03/2020 10:11

You'll feel even better in a month when you really start enjoying the rehoming. Forever home, lovely.

We're insanely proud of you and the boys. I am going to boast that I know you IRL.

Capn V's telling me he is frightened of the pattern on my new trendy 'geometric style' duvet. Had to be lifted (doesn't like that either) onto the bed last night. Belly rub did the trick, we fell asleep holding paws.
