He HATES me.

Escaped from crate last night. 2 hrs to get him back in. Sofa still on its back in the hall.

The final insult: kissed firmly as the prison doors banged shut.

Got the Stinkeye this morning.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 08/11/2019 10:20

I'm wondering if somehow he might just be a great-great-great-great grandson of Mr C...

Supersimkin2 · 08/11/2019 10:34

He's from the East End. Mr C was a Battersea Boy. Nothing like a Londoner, they mew in Cockney.

Of course, I like to think Mr C's mew got much posher when he lived in SW4 with me Grin

YetAnotherSpartacus · 08/11/2019 10:36

Cats are known travellers :)

ClientListQueen · 08/11/2019 10:43

I am half laughing at the story of Paws Grin
Ollie firmly tucked up in bed last night. Booted me with his back legs every time I fidgeted

coastergirl · 08/11/2019 17:38

The story of Paws has made me so sad. Will cuddle my boys extra tight tonight.

ClientListQueen · 08/11/2019 18:37

@coastergirl don't feel too sorry for him. He jumped, landed on the microwave, skidded and then face planted the fridge

Ollie "an this is why I no climb. Stupid" and bustled off in disgust

Supersimkin2 · 08/11/2019 20:05

Something tells me Paws is safe in the hands of the heroine of his story.

ClientListQueen · 08/11/2019 20:07

He is worrying I'm going to start scrubbing his face with baby wipes

Supersimkin2 · 08/11/2019 21:29

Or he is thinking about how to get in the bed tonight.

Supersimkin2 · 08/11/2019 21:38

I've never been stared at with such venom in my life. Little bundle of adorability is still hissing when I reach my hand into the covered crate onto his soft white fluff.

On the upside, there is a tiny tinkle coming from the feather on a stick....

Supersimkin2 · 08/11/2019 21:47

Sorry about the photo blackout - basically, he's in a crate with cloth-covered ends so he feels safe.

He can see me but I can't really see him except when he comes out - at which point I have to pretend I am not looking or he scuttles back.

coastergirl · 09/11/2019 01:19

@ClientListQueen I did see that on Facebook. It really made me laugh. I love his markings. He looks like he has one sock pulled up and one down.

@Supersimkin2 this is how Bertie was when he came to me. He'd had weeks of rehab work with a fosterer but was still terrified of humans. He had to be in a crate at first, and we had to be so patient with him. Once he came out, he spent most of his time behind the sofa. It was so hard to be patient (I'm not great at that), and we were told never to expect him to be a lap cat. However, he really is a lap cat! He's affectionate and demanding and adorable, but he hides from visitors. I love him and I'm so proud that he trusts me! Your little bundle of fluff will soon learn that you mean no harm and provide delicious meals therefore can definitely be trusted!

coastergirl · 09/11/2019 08:48

Sorry for the double post...but I had to share this of my boys. I love seeing them like this. Both rescue kitties with awful starts to life. It's so nice seeing them cuddled up together.

You can’t tell where one cat ends and the other begins. YouTube do excellent videos on hand shy ferals.

Asbo has thrown up on the table, the hob, two of his beds. Doesn’t want breakfast. I don’t know how he gets himself into such trouble overnight.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 09/11/2019 08:58

{{{{Asbo}}}}

Fluffycloudland77 · 09/11/2019 09:42

Ah thank you. He’s had a nice drink out of the loo 🤢

I’ve fetched his water bowl. I bought Aldi food when he’s been on sainsbos senior so it’s probably my fault.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 09/11/2019 09:59

He of the delicate tum tum...

Supersimkin2 · 09/11/2019 13:02

You must be feeling dreadful Fluffy Flowers wot a lovely start to weekend.

Have you checked the local paper Missing page to see what asbo's eaten? I hope chunks of 'much-loved OAP' or 'our adored dachshund Maybelle' do not appear too obvious. Send DH out for a copy at once.

Coaster that is so sweet. Your two are beauties.

Fluffycloudland77 · 09/11/2019 15:19

He’s been like this before, I’ll see how he is tm. I can’t believe he drinks out of the loo.

Supersimkin2 · 09/11/2019 17:00

Well, we've all had our moments after a night on the tiles. It's not as risky as a kebab in South London, that's for sure. Keep the seat down and put a bowl by the loo.

ClientListQueen · 09/11/2019 21:37

Wake UP Ollie. Bang bangs. Scary

Supersimkin2 · 09/11/2019 21:54

Paws: Have you seen my car keys
Ollie: zzzzz eh?
Paws: Keys? Keys? Anyone seen my BLOODY keys
Ollie: I am asleep.
Paws: I think you're sitting on them
Ollie: FFS.... too cold to go out....
Paws: can you move a minute
Ollie: ... FO...hall table....
Paws: oooo! they're on the hall table
Ollie: Bring us a dreamie then you've woke me up
Paws: here we go. too cold to go out now. budge up then. wots on telly

We have had a little cuddle here - Little K sat on my bosom for a full 5 min, looking appalled. We shared a sausage.

coastergirl · 09/11/2019 21:58

Are those Harry Potter pjs I spy?

ClientListQueen · 09/11/2019 21:58

Clever cuddle! I had a stroke, some blinks and a very confused sniff at my face
Ollie rolled over, stretched and scared Paws who promptly fell over backwards
