Are you still vegan?.

Supersimpkin · 22/08/2019 16:34

Certainly not. The posh deli had half price salads. Back on yellow sticker Best Ever Burgers already.

Anyone ever known a cat wear a track in the garden? Because I have... BlushConfusedConfused

Allergictoironing · 23/08/2019 20:40

It wouldn't lead directly to Ma Bush would it?

YesQueen · 23/08/2019 20:43

It leads to the bit where he goes out onto the pavement for two steps and back in the neighbours gate BlushGrin

Those Ollie tracks are delightful - precise to an incredible degree.

The paint on every door frame in this house is rubbed away at Weezolcat's shoulder/head height. Even if the door is wide open the frame must be marked every time.

Matt chillaxing on the last day of holiday.
He’s in for a shock when he gets home and finds Socks the kitten already installed - she went back with dd by train on Tuesday.
It will be who’s been sleeping in my bed, who’s been sitting in my chair, and who’s been eating my food, like a feline version of Goldilocks 😹

Matt will get Face of The Gargoyle.

Loving Weezolcat and her marking you and the house as personal property.

Anyone ever known a cat wear a track in the garden?

Oh god yes! At the old family home the track went from the end of the side path across the lawn to the gap in the hedge, at old house 1 the track went down the side the entire length of the garden, and at old house 2 it tracked diagonally across the lawn from the patio steps to the place where the fence was lowest. And in thick fresh snow there was always a dip!

It'll be interesting to see if Ollie leaves a snow-dip!

Supersimkin · 24/08/2019 09:51

At least it's not to the off licence/old people's home where they forget the cat's been fed/local toilets of ill repute.

Can't post pic. Mr C has received new pet bed.

Mama home?

Paws is almost as adorable as Ollie!

I have to admit some sympathy for poor Matt.

Papergirl1968 · 24/08/2019 14:29

I’m home and had a fleeting glimpse of Socks scuttling behind the sofa. I don’t think Matt has realised she’s here yet.
Matt was terrified of that gargoyle when we went to the same house two years ago. We had to turn it to face the wall. This time he took it in his stride.
Loving Ollie’s little path. And Paws’ cute face!

YesQueen · 24/08/2019 14:42

Ollie is not speaking to me. I suggested he might like Aldi premium cat food and to try going out into the sun
He's so cross he's stomped to his bowl and is eating his dry food while glaring at me 😂😂😂

Papergirl1968 · 24/08/2019 16:21

Matt did another poo in the litter tray coming home. Couldn’t find any tissues or wipes so scooped it into an old envelope I found in the glovebox, using a sanitary towel (I used!) I also found in the glovebox.
He is busy checking out his garden for new and interesting smells, while Socks has still not emerged from behind the sofa despite me putting down a bit of tinned salmon.

Supersimkin · 24/08/2019 19:13

Paws desperately sweet in a thug cat eau. TAAT.Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 24/08/2019 22:06

Is mr c using his new bed?.

YesQueen · 25/08/2019 13:38

Matt and Socks kept me awake by thundering up and down the stairs all night, playing chase.
Mid morning Socks had sneaked into bed with the dds, who had decided to share dd2s double, and was lying between them, head on pillow.

Papergirl1968 · 25/08/2019 16:03

Here she is after she turned around!

TheLongRider · 25/08/2019 18:10

Well if Matt and Socks are playing chase, then I think you're going to be ok.

Papergirl1968 · 25/08/2019 19:28

Hoping Matt might lose some weight playing with Socks!

Papergirl1968 · 25/08/2019 21:19

Socks is very skittish and hides under the bed a lot, but I had a breakthrough tonight when she let me handfeed her. Total contrast to Matt who was keen to explore from his first moment through the door and took it all in his stride.
Speaking of Mousy Mouth, he caught a tiny baby mouse earlier that was so small he had the entire thing in his mouth with cheeks bulging. I had to shake him to make him drop it and it ran off, hopefully to live for another day, while Matt was carried inside in disgrace 🙀
