Leroy must be a very well behaved cat!

Hahahahahahahahaha no.

Leroy is a nutter. Just a nutter who has come to realise that if he wants to go out that's how we do it. Little shit would absolutely leg it given half a chance!

Supersimpkin · 20/08/2019 08:38

Well I'm insanely impressed ItsMe.

Round here with all the handbag dogs and fashionable Instagram cafes Leroy would be talk of the town.

Matt and Socks could be really good friends, long term.

One of these is not my cat

How long will that last? Paws wants that lap.

Papergirl1968 · 20/08/2019 10:25

I think they will be, Lana.
Dd is only staying two or three months but I think she’ll probably pop in regularly with Socks. In the meantime, she’s broke so guess who picks up the bill for inoculations?!

YetAnotherSpartacus · 20/08/2019 10:33

Any news about the baby yet?

And has DD got pet insurance for the kitten? She does not know much about her history. Is she healthy?

Weezol · 20/08/2019 11:15

YesQueen Splendid 'Ears on Backwards' there from Paws. Weezolcat excels at EoB, especially when Someone closes a car door five streets away.

Supersimpkin I tried putting a harness on Weezolcat once. Just the once, I don't have a death wish. She doesn't do outside. Too big, too loud and not enough carpet. Also Other People - thank you, no.

Hi thank you for the birthday wishes.

You didnt name him after a certain gaming reference did you?

YesItsMeIDontCare · 20/08/2019 14:28

You didnt name him after a certain gaming reference did you?

I have no idea! He was named by the lady who first took him after his original owners abandoned him.

This toy is LIFE at the moment, I got the day glo orange one for the inevitable day he loses it under the bed.

Best of all he plays with it on his own.

I’ve also sacrificed a woolen tumbledryer ball from home bargains.

Papergirl1968 · 20/08/2019 19:08

No, baby is still in foster care, Spartacus, so dd went home early to see her.
I think she sees the kitten as a surrogate baby as she is very possessive of her.
No pet insurance. Dd doesn’t even know if she had her nine week jabs, but we think not as boyfriend’s family don’t seem to get any of them inoculated or neutered for that matter.
Dd thinks she’s having trouble with one eye but there doesn’t seem much wrong with it to me. We will get her to the vets as soon as we get back though.

Supersimpkin · 20/08/2019 21:37

Well done Paper. Blue Cross or your local RSPCA will help with bills under the circs because I can't imagine DD is rolling in cash.

Mr C is stealing food from my fork. I have placed him on the floor. You know what happens next.

Supersimpkin · 20/08/2019 21:43

In London the Blue Cross also provide catfood under some circs too. AFAIK you ring them up, you have to prove your income, and they buy it for you.

Nurse Lee, who knows about these things, says there is an awful lot of identity fraud at the Blue Cross. He says one week Mr Bonkers turns up with a Dobermann for a grooming, the next week Mr Bonkers turns up saying he is allergic to fur and brandishing a python. On week 3 Mr Bonkers whips out a pregnant guinea pig and several homing pigeons from under his coat. Basically, pet identity fraud :) He says the RSPCA pay bills direct which is probably a better idea.

Oohhh.... is Ollie accepting Paws now? It's really nice when they start to get on. This was a nice photo of Leroy and Barney.

Both those pics are deeply sweet.

Olli's tail is flicking suspiciously, however. Thing is, Olli, Paws is fighting for his life. No one else will care for him (ain't no one going to care for him the way you and Mama do :) ) Paws is just as desperate for a warm home, a massive meal and a loving headbop as you are.

I know Mama is yours. She knows that. Believe me, she knows. But maybe Mama could share a little bit?

Well that's knackered any future OLD profile I might make.

Papergirl1968 · 21/08/2019 10:38

One of the comments says they keep cats because they can’t keep a partner! Hmm

Fluffycloudland77 · 21/08/2019 14:42

i know someone who can’t keep either.

Supersimpkin · 21/08/2019 18:20

Fluffy everyone feels that way about their DH sometimes. Grin

More likely to stay single - oh get real DM, of course. Does Brad Pitt have a little fat fluffy tummy of sweetness? Does George Clooney do a rumbly purr when you have a nightmare? Does Keanu have toe beans?

Papergirl1968 · 21/08/2019 20:32

They’re just no competition, are they Lana?!

TheSilveryPussycat · 22/08/2019 00:19

I thought the thing about crazy cat ladies was that they didn't have to combat loneliness and depression - because they had cats.

Supersimpkin · 22/08/2019 09:10

No loneliness, no depression, no time, no money - the list goes on.

I went vegan last night. Mr C sent me to Coventry for an hour. Might have to do him a Burger King later and not tell the vet.

Home early as on a half day. Ollie is raging "I was doing cat FINGS an you disturbed me"
He was bleary eyed so I'm guessing asleep Grin
