@YesItsMeIDontCare have you seen him push poor Paws out?! Angry BAD kitty

Fluffycloudland77 · 07/08/2019 20:39

Is there any news Guilty? You did well to get her to the vets so quickly.

Guiltypleasures001 · 07/08/2019 20:52

Hi sorry was so long

They are keeping her in, asked if she was feisty ? Said she's a torti she kills everything 😳
They said no does she like a fuss, said yeah belly rubs etc on her terms, she's ok with head rubs, but not further down back around hips.

So she's in pain on a drip and pain killers, no X-ray as yet, going to re asses in the morning
Monitor wees, said she only drinks from a glass, so we shall see how it goes

We're all quite stressed, this has set my fibro off a treat, and dh works away and he's upset too. Thanks for all the good wishes, I'll update again tomorrow 🥺

Guiltypleasures001 · 07/08/2019 20:54

Ive just seen Olli asserting himself, that's cheered me up a bit 😁

Supersimpkin · 07/08/2019 21:13

Oh Yes the ultimate declaration of love.

Supersimpkin · 07/08/2019 21:19

Guilty massive sympathies and hope Betboo gets better soon. What a horrible time for you both - take it easy.

At first it sounds as if she may have had a joyously lucky escape. Let's hope that's the case - you poor things. Eat a lot of chocolate and dreamies for a long time.

Mr C sends a fat paw wave and his caring thought that he hopes the bastard who did it never gets a yellow sticker in his life, ever.

TheLongRider · 07/08/2019 21:36

Good luck Guiltypleasures001 and family. It's horrible when cats have accidents.

Guiltypleasures001 · 07/08/2019 21:37

Hi Super, thank MrC for me and maybe point him in the direction of an extra yellow sticker of prawns/ham from us 😘

I need two new knees, and my hips just gone as well, arthritic nodules on all the tops of my fingers now, fibro and a partridge in a pear tree 😳😁

I forget so many words now, everything's " a thing" honestly its like give us a clue in this house
I panicked today, because I couldn't remember the name of the vets, even though they are just up the road, thank heaven my son was home at the time, otherwise I would have struggled.

TheLongRider · 07/08/2019 21:37

Paws just has to acknowledge Ollie as top mog and all will be well. Ollie can't have uppity young cats disrespecting him in his manor!

YesItsMeIDontCare · 07/08/2019 21:39

@YesQueen I did see him 😁. It was quite a whomp to be fair! And such an innocent furry face...

How's Henry?

Papergirl1968 · 07/08/2019 21:42

Ollie didn’t just smack Paws, he knocked him back through the window Shock
So sorry Guilty, and hope tomorrow brings better news Flowers

Supersimpkin · 07/08/2019 23:14

Oh Guilty these things are sent to try us, what a load on your shoulders. Well, all I can say is you did superbly - on top of that, that's one hell of a day to get through. Go grrrl, both of you.

You deserve a deep kip and breakfast made of chocolate if you ask me.

One of my mates forgot where she lived when she was coming home from work once. (Thyroid). She sobbed loudly, sometimes it's the only way. She remembered after 5 min bowling loudly on the tube platform Grin.

Mr C runs this house, luckily, so my personal organisation is managed in military style.

I wish he'd forget the word for food sometimes. No chance, love.

Supersimpkin · 07/08/2019 23:15

?*howling - not bowling. Bowling much more fun.

Supersimpkin · 08/08/2019 09:15

Two breakfasts rejected. Been sent to M&S for meatballs.

Hope today is slightly less testing, Guilty. And Paws.

Papergirl1968 · 08/08/2019 17:28

Very nice, Leroy. Such a lovely contrast to your fur and everyone you meet can greet you by name.
Was Leroy named after the character in Fame, by the way?

Guiltypleasures001 · 08/08/2019 17:30

Update

Bladder ok they think, she's weeing now
More mobile, rolling over for belly rubs. They said she was hardly moving yesterday
She's having pain killing jabs
She's eating and drinking

We're supposed to be on hols tomorrow, only Suffolk, under 2 hrs away from us.
If she comes home tomorrow, she may benefit from being in the cattery, being on bed rest
Lovely lady at the cattery has a ground floor pen for her in case, and can do pills etc

So won't know much till mid morning tomorrow

In other news, Ollie appears very dominant at the moment, nmc name obviously wasn't on the list, love the letter pic as well
And Leroy's new jacket and Leroy are lovely

As per thanks for the support 😘

Papergirl1968 · 08/08/2019 17:42

Glad to hear she’s feeling better, Guilty.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 08/08/2019 18:11

Oh that great news Guilty, and you could well be right about the cattery.

Papergirl I don't know! He was named Leroy by the lady who first took him in as a very temporary foster when he was abandoned.

Supersimpkin · 08/08/2019 18:19

Suffolk is glorious, go. Betboo will be on bed rest anyway, what better time to do it.

She will have revved up a really first class Ignoring Of Guilty when you get back.

I've done 15 hours' worth of house clearance for charity in two days inc 400 kg of clothes recycling. Best way to get a nice deep sleep in the heat - lovely.

Just as I was about to crawl off to die this pm, we had a customer who said they were non-binary. Charming, hopeful, didn't identify as either male or female, wanted stuff for summer. I showed our finest wares, ranging from a wedding dress to full combat gear. Brilliant -s/he bought the lot. The only really delicate issue, as ever, is sizing - I didn't dare risk insult by producing anything over a 14 in either collar size or skirt Grin

OP posts:
Allergictoironing · 08/08/2019 18:42

I'm over a 14 in both collar size and clothes size lol, wouldn't take offence at either - know my collar size as I used to wear men's shirts & a tie when I was show jumping, until I discovered the joys of a velcro stock Grin.

Good news about Betboo, she should be fine at either vets or cattery while you're away.

Ollie is certainly getting a bit assertive lately. Probably not too bad a thing in his case.

YesQueen · 08/08/2019 18:52

A nice chill out for you and Betboo sounds a great plan
Ollie has been surprisingly docile today but I haven't spotted Paws yet. If he would just be nice.... paws wants to be friends but Ollie seems to go on the defensive straight away. I'm like "well you won't have friends if you whack them around the head and will push them out of windows"

Allergictoironing · 08/08/2019 19:35

He's just protecting his mamma. Or being incredibly possessive about you, which thinking about it seems more likely Grin

YesQueen · 08/08/2019 19:44

I've just found him face first in a bowl of buttered cabbage. Cozie will be HmmConfusedShock if she is reading this. I mean, cabbage?!?
