Is this yet another NMC? You're going to have your hands full at this rate, what with this new one, Paws, and placating Ollie and making sure he knows he's still number one cat in your life!

Supersimpkin · 04/08/2019 09:42

My only, annoying, idea: let Olli on the bed and no one else. That should tell him & everyone else he is Top Cat.

What a lovely kitty. Three is a very lucky number.

This one can't stay sadly as he is incontinent and I don't have anywhere suitable Sad but he is going to a foster home
He slept all night like a cat that's been on the streets for weeks and not slept properly

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/08/2019 10:15

Was he thrown out for that do you think?.

YesQueen · 04/08/2019 10:24

Yes, I think so Sad poor mite

Papergirl1968 · 04/08/2019 11:03

That’s so sad

YesQueen · 04/08/2019 11:13

I'm off to grab some puppy pads. He is very excited by cuddles and food
Ollie has retired to the garden with "stress" as Paws is here too

YesQueen · 04/08/2019 16:04

Ollie is nosying at stray cat. I've got a baby gate across the bathroom door so he can look but neither of them climb so they are fine
He keeps looking and then running off and coming back to peek Grin

Supersimpkin · 04/08/2019 18:07

Another sob at a happy ending from me. It's prob just a pee infection.

You've saved that cat's life.

Bless the little love.

Fluffy having stuck my foot back together at the top, the heel at the bottom has cracked by about an inch on the same foot. The crevasse goes straight to flesh. Stings a bit. Any thoughts? I am not answering any questions on how this happened originally.

Allergictoironing · 04/08/2019 18:12

Are you sure it's cracked open, and not been sliced open with razor-like claws? Grin Wink

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/08/2019 18:29

I’ve been around too long to ask. Double base gel, one pump per foot smoothed over the skin 2 x a day.

Do not rub in like you would hand cream, it won’t work if you do that.
Don’t apply loads thinking more is best. It’s not.
Don’t put socks on straightaway. Have a coffee for 10 minutes, then dress.
Don’t soak your feet.

Poor old cat thrown out like that. I hope they end up incontinent and alone too.

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/08/2019 18:33

If it’s really open ie bleeding a hydrocolloid dressing applied and left in situ for a week will heal bad fissures.

We don’t do it on the nhs because of cost but hydrocolloids can be bought cheaply retail now masquerading as cures for blisters. I bet home bargains do them, or Superdrug.

Supersimpkin · 04/08/2019 18:49

Fluffy thanks a million, you are a GENIUS. Hobbling to Superdrug tomorrow. It's my fault.

Allergic you should SEE my face when it comes to cat scratches. Look like a bad extra in a horror film. Scabs, the works.

NB: I am already old and incontinent. Mr C is too. We are both very happy, thanks very much. Grin

So someone who's cat went missing 6 years ago came to see him and is 99% sure it's theirs
They don't want him back SadAngrySadAngry
He's eating M&S chicken

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/08/2019 19:56

I don’t know how people can do that, surely if a pet goes missing your inconsolable?.

YesQueen · 04/08/2019 21:24

Local mad as a box of frogs cat rescue woman has collected him
She saw him and went "oh dear oh dear" and scooped him up

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/08/2019 21:40

Do they think he can find a home?.

YesQueen · 04/08/2019 21:43

She's hopeful, but if not he will stay with her. He's off to the vets for a full check tomorrow

Weezol · 04/08/2019 21:53

I give thanks to mad as a box of frogs cat rescue women everywhere. Without them I would not be living with Weezolcat who I love more than life itself.

I believe she considers me to be 'mostly fit for purpose' on a good day.

We're both slightly grumpy inverts with a general dislike of Other Fucking People, so fate clearly brought us together to protect the innocent and weedy.

YesQueen · 04/08/2019 21:54

Paws has just strolled in. You win some, you lose some

I got Leroy thanks to a mad-as-a-box-of-frogs-cat-rescue-woman. It's my goal in life to become one but I need a lottery win first...

YesQueen · 04/08/2019 22:31

I can post a pic of him now

Pilling the cat: 100 easy steps
YesItsMeIDontCare · 04/08/2019 22:54

Awwww bless him, poor baby! I really hope he finds a loving home, although I'm sure mad-as-a-box-of-frogs-cat-rescue-woman will provide him with one for the rest of his days.

I reckon Leroy could look a bit like that if he gets to be an old man.

Fluffycloudland77 · 05/08/2019 07:29

Poor little cat, is he meant to be black but he’s so out of condition that he’s gone ginger?.
