Come one, come all to the Olli et al. appreciation thread.

Mr C has started wheezing again. Give me strength.

On the upside, might see Nurse Lee tomorrow. Not in my skimpy lace nightie, Spart (good plan tho Grin).

Just as well. He might give it to you! Grin

Supersimpkin · 01/03/2019 21:16

Mr C asked for TWO mini Gourmets. I am almost unconscious with relief, thanks so much everyone for everything.

He did spit his pill out of both of them, admittedly.

We have also polished off a whole chicken pie between us and may have an early night.

I have ham on the bedside table for the pill.

Ollivander84 come on over, girl. We miss you. Grin Anyone who wants to have a pop can take me on. They won't try it again in a hurry, and that's a promise.

Papergirl1968 · 01/03/2019 22:28

Thank goodness, Lana. Matt sends his best regards to Mr C, and says he must stop worrying his devoted slave.
Did you know Ollivander is now YesQueen? She has been quiet these last few days though.

Supersimpkin · 02/03/2019 07:44

In bed with cappucino (me) and ham (guess who). Purry bliss. Mr C has gone very soft recently, all white candyfloss fur of age and wisdom, ideal for sneaking kisses in a fat cheek.

DCat · 02/03/2019 09:32

Very good news! Star Enjoy your Saturday Smile

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/03/2019 19:19

How is he tonight?

cozietoesie · 02/03/2019 19:57

I see he has the ham - did he take THE PILL?

YesQueen · 02/03/2019 20:02

I'm here
Fat cat is well despite refusing to wee for 2 days, incurring 2 VET trips and then getting home and doing a giant wee like "what mama? I not need one before"

I'm only surprised that he didn't do it all over the vet! Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/03/2019 20:24

In the car would have been the place to do it.

Justonedayatatime11 · 02/03/2019 20:41

Yay Yes you're back! Grin

YesQueen · 02/03/2019 20:41

Oh he went in the carrier secretly after the first visit. Then nothing for 26hrs so back to the vet. The vet said and I quote "he doesn't have many teeth does he? He's quite sweet"
Ollie batted his eyelashes and she didn't charge for the second visit
The new man Blush ADORES him and Ollie loves him. Possibly more than me Blush

cozietoesie · 02/03/2019 20:45

PB is definitely a MAN'S cat. He positively fawned over the Ex. Blush

TheLongRider · 02/03/2019 21:51

Ooh that's good about Ollie and new bloke. It's always a relief when your cat likes new people.

Papergirl1968 · 02/03/2019 22:44

Oh, new man on the scene, Ollivander
No wonder you've been quiet lately Wink
Glad he's met with Ollie's approval.

YesQueen · 03/03/2019 10:56

Woke up this morning to find O asleep on his chest, snoring away Confused
So strange as he usually hates men

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/03/2019 11:24

You will have to marry him. Asbo took 7 years to accept dh. We were together when we got him.

He loves dhs cousin.

cozietoesie · 03/03/2019 12:17

Has he truly accepted him now? Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/03/2019 12:29

Sort of.

YesQueen · 03/03/2019 12:52

I am second best human. Was at home with new man. Was he wining and dining me? Was he saying romantic things? No

Was he down on the floor brushing Ollie going "who's the cutest cat? Who loves their brush?" BlushHmm

YesQueen · 03/03/2019 12:53

Oh and some kittens for you. They appear to be plotting to take over the world

I've just found the sodding pill in the duvet.

Mr C welcomes his friends back, about time too. He's eating a good 60 per cent of normal.

If Newman is nice to Olli, then consider letting him carry your shopping and making you tea. Just a thought - ration favours for pet treats.

Papergirl1968 · 03/03/2019 20:19

Matt appears to be off his food. I'm not sure if it's toothache or he's suddenly become a fussy eater. However fussiness is uncharacteristic and if it's toothache there's no rhyme nor reason to the foods which are rejected in terms of being hard or soft.
For example since Thursday ham, steak and cat food of several varieties have been rejected. However thin cooked chicken, thin cooked beef, chicken nuggets and a slice of beef joint have been accepted. Dreamies have been accepted but a few have been left (unheard of).
He was in a scrap the other night but appears to have only a couple of minor scratches and not be particularly worried about going outside. He seems his usual self, although he is extra loving to dd1, who is now 33 weeks pregnant.
To vet or not to vet, that is the question...

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/03/2019 20:33

Vet? Either teeth, which I’m betting on as it’s probably not a great time to pay for a dental with a baby on the way or fussiness.

cozietoesie · 03/03/2019 20:46

I'd vet. (Having had it, toothache is a benighted curse.)
