I'm very lucky in that way. I just get 6kg of Boycat jumping on the bed from the windowsill if he thinks I'm stirring any time after about 6:30am (he USUALLY manages to miss my legs), then there's a polite slither up the bed until he's next to me. If I completely ignore him he eventually goes away, but for me waking up means an urgent visit to the loo - he waits on the bed for me to get back.

LanaorAna2 · 04/01/2019 13:34

All that food is v encouraging.

Allergic that is terribly sweet. Waits on bed!!

I too bolt madly for the loo on waking, a white knuckle ride because Mr C has been catapulting himself on and off my bladder. Yanking my pyjamas up to above my knees, badly confused and struggling to stay upright, I lurch off while he frolics around me madly, biting my ankles and smacking the backs of the knees with his tail so you fall over.

Once on the lavatory, the animal purrs madly and helps me by purring extra loud. Or getting on my knee.

It's awful. He wants his breakfast quick.

Allergictoironing · 04/01/2019 20:02

Bless him, he's a growing lad Grin.

As far as Boycat is concerned, breakfast can wait until he's decided he's had enough morning cuddle on the bed, anything from 10 - 30 minutes. I'm then permitted to get up at my own pace while he takes a leisurely stroll down stairs to join his sister. Once downstairs I have to put the TV on for them (BBC news - an educated cat MUST keep up with current affairs you know), stroke Girlcat on the back of the sofa for precisely ONE minute, feed them each 2 Dreamies then get breakfast while the look on in approval from the Kitchen door.

For some reason Girlcat has recently started doing girly squirming and rolling around on the hallway floor while I prepare meals for them, and she's normally such a dignified cat.

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/01/2019 20:36

Tbh I was starving after an op & made dh take me straight to McDonald’s where I had a burger, Big Mac large meal, and an apple pie.

Has he got post op meds? Asbo drooled a lot out the one side while it healed.

Claw in the nipple is bad too.

LanaorAna2 · 04/01/2019 21:24
Grin

Having got 3 of his pills down by dint of cheese dreamies, Mr C vomited neon yellow in garlands all over the sitting room. We're both feeling a little delicate.

Fluffy you've got to have apple pie. Have you had the BK one? It's two microscopic fritters. It disgusts me with its smallness. Even tho you have eaten so much by then you can barely swallow it, that's not the point at all.

Ollivander84 · 04/01/2019 22:43

No post op meds, they decided he could cope without Grin weren't risking giving him them

He's troughing jacket potato and beans at the minute

He's got the munchiesGrin

Fluffycloudland77 · 05/01/2019 07:52

I spent £45 on two bottles of liquid painkillers 😠. This is why my vet drives a Porsche.

Ollivander84 · 05/01/2019 12:17

As you can see he's remarkably stressed

For your nipple?

Grin
Fluffycloudland77 · 05/01/2019 12:52

Ollie is indeed looking wrung out. At least he won’t ever have a dental again.

I didn’t think to try it on my nipple. Asbos gums didn’t toughen up straight away (he is just a helpless scrap of fur) hence extra painkillers.

Ollivander84 · 05/01/2019 13:02

Here is the pathetic scrap of fur deafening me (you need volume!)

Oh, Ollie :) :)

And Asbo is such a good boy.

Fluffycloudland77 · 05/01/2019 15:50

He looks very content. His teeth have caused him nothing but trouble really.

Fluffycloudland77 · 05/01/2019 17:50

In other news asbo is on a diet. He’s only had 2 pouchies today & is playing like a kitten.

LanaorAna2 · 05/01/2019 18:59

Mr C plays tinkly ball when he wants food out of me. He thinks it looks sweet.

Fluffycloudland77 · 05/01/2019 21:18

I would imagine it does though.

LanaorAna2 · 05/01/2019 22:12

I fall for it squealing in a nanosecond.

Mr C's got the full manflu repetoire out tonight. All I get is the Visage of Suffering from the sofa. Sick of these sodding pills, we both are.

There's a new Olli film on Feb 1 - Toothless rides again.

LanaorAna2 · 05/01/2019 22:17

Is asbo still on a diet? It's been half a day. How badly damaged is DH.

Weedsnseeds1 · 06/01/2019 00:55

Not a vet, but I would suggest Ollie is suffering no ill effects so farSmile
Has Asbo put himself on a diet ( like my fussy diva), or was it your choice fluffy?

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/01/2019 08:45

He is still on a diet, he was 6.8kg so I cut him from 4 pouches to 3.5 which was not popular and now two meals of 1.5 pouches.

He looks slimmer and is way more active. I’m trying to do more running up and down stairs playing to tire him out.

I weighed him and he weighs the same though. Which proves diets are the same for all species 🤷🏻‍♀️😸

YetAnotherSpartacus · 06/01/2019 09:25

He's lost fat and built up muscle most likely. :).

Glad Ollie is doing well. Hope that Mr C improves. He's a bit of a worry:(.

Ollivander84 · 06/01/2019 10:18

He is at the window to check on ma bush. And reports back the new neighbours have a "weird plastic box fing TOO CLOSE to bush"
It's a storage bin thing looks awful

OP posts:
LanaorAna2 · 06/01/2019 13:56

Probably a temporary thing while they're doing stuff to make the house their own.

Ma Bush seems safe which is the main thing. Have a chillout convalescent day.

Asbo is a fine figure of a cat. He doesn't need to get too thin. I expect the extra muscle is from his dedicated practice in the ring with the neighbours.

Mr C has not thrown up today, even though I changed the sheets. On the mend,

Happy Sunday, everyone.
