Things your cat hates about you

We often have a tawny owl sitting in a tree next to us when it is dark outside that is quite "chatty". I often have the terrace door open and when I hear it, I occasionally copy its sounds. My cat does not approve of that. She tends to jump on my lap, giving me her unfriendly look and meowing at me.

Me not doing what she wants immediately or being able to read her mind as to what it is she wants.

Mine will look out the back door and see that it’s raining outside. She will then insist I open the front door. When she sees it’s raining there too, I get a look of contempt and fury - I have evidently failed to provide different and more suitable weather for her hunting trip!

My cat hates when I laugh. He slinks slowly over and very carefully, and in a measured way, bites me.

My cat hates that it's not feeding time every time I'm in the kitchen, no matter how much he bangs on the cupboard doors 😂

Mine hates that we live here with her Hmm.

Hates that we can’t magic the neighbourhood bully cats away, hates that we, occasionally of a night, want to sleep in bed - so she inevitably gets a human foot too close to her.

Also hates us for moving area so she can’t hunt & eat rabbits daily, even if she did go outside to face the bullies the best she’d catch would be spider. But mostly she hates us for breeding.

My cat hates that I am sub-standard staff because I move him off the keyboard of my laptop and sometimes I let the level in his food bowl drop to below acceptable levels.

One of my two is a complete dustbin when it comes to food. They have constant access to kibble but enjoy a pouch at teatime and greedy guts goes berserk when she considers it's time

Tonight I've refused to open it until the manic noise stops and she's looking at me with an expression well beyond hate

My mums cat is very angry at her for taking him to the vet recently. He also detests being brushed and will bite you.

My cat hates heavy metal, if my dh tries to watch it on YouTube the cat will jump on to his lap and punch him in the head then stalk off.

My cats all hate that I like to pick them up and cradle them like babies while I kiss their little whiskery cheeks. I've learned how to hold them so their back feet are in my elbow and they can't kick my face. It really pisses them all off, but they're so cute and kissable I just can't help myself.

This one is giving me the face because I can't stop the rain, or wind.
I also get the face when I get the hoover out. Or buy a brand or type of food which differs from his favourite, which strangely enough is the Poundstretcher one.

My female cat hates my mobile and is biting it as I type. Her brother hates that he can't have every tap in the house left on all day and night for him.

When I grab them, flip them over and cradle them like a baby. With a cheeky fluffy belly rub thrown it. They hate it which only makes it more enjoyable. I tell them that I'm their mummy and feed and water them so they have to get over it.

This morning my cat hated that I had set his timed feeder to 5am.

He made me get up at 4.30 to open it

That I close the bedroom door at night. They want to be able to wake me up and walk all over me whenever they want.

That I don't use the laser pen more.

That I go to work.

I had a magnet on the fridge that meowed when it was pressed, my cat hated me for that.

My other cat hated me because when it was raining I didn't turn it off no matter how many doors he looked out of hopefully.
