Awaiting blood results for kidney function. As she's still loosing weight and isn't her usual self. Should get them later today. If her kidneys are failing then I think the kindest thing will be to PTS. In view of her heart I don't want to 'try and manage it' it wouldn't be fair. For the last couple of days she's still interested in things but is not my bossy little diva cat and isn't eating much.

If it's not her kidneys then it will be the new drugs the cardiologist started her on. So they can be stopped. I am a bit thrown that it's likely kidneys and not heart. Cried in handover at work twice already. It's going to be a long day.

Unfortunately it is her kidneys. So there is nothing to be done. They've sent me a copy of the results and her creatanine etc are very raised. Trying to sort out the logistics as am supposed to be at work till 7.30 but they will let me go early.

I've been expecting this day since November. In some senses it's a relief. All my cat libelling colleagues are on today and are being amazing. Trying to get hold of the vet.
