Awaiting blood results for kidney function. As she's still loosing weight and isn't her usual self. Should get them later today. If her kidneys are failing then I think the kindest thing will be to PTS. In view of her heart I don't want to 'try and manage it' it wouldn't be fair. For the last couple of days she's still interested in things but is not my bossy little diva cat and isn't eating much.

Oh no I'm sorry. You have taken such fantastic care of her and Snorg and given them so much love in the time you have had them.

She's been a joy to have. Bossy, feisty, a total diva when she wants to be but loyal very affectionate and incredibly well behaved. Not many cats would take 8 tablets a day!

She's amazing. The girls are lucky to have you, you have given them an amazing life and always do what's best for them.

I suspect Snorg might be happier as an only cat.

Oh gulp, I am so very, very sad for you. Poor Fatty. Poor you. Sending you lots of love and purrs and snuggles from my three. It is the last kindness we can offer our dear ones, but it hurts so much.

Thank you all. I had no idea their fan club was so large! I'm going to take Snorg along in. The hope that she'll understand and Maia will be reassured by her presence and I have something to cuddle afterwards. They have a love hate relationship but at vets and cattery they need each other.

I think that's a good idea, hopefully it will help (not the right word but I don't know what else to say) both of them and you as well.

Other than Harry they are my favourite cats and I've loved following their stories. They deserve their massive fan club. Please give them both a stroke from me.

That sounds sensible. Apparently it can help cats see their companion so they understand rather than the cat just disappearing.
There are a few cats on here I have a soft spot for despite never having met them!

Oh god what a position to be in I dread the day. Im so pleased your colleagues were kind to you. They are all cat mad on my ward as well and I think it helps. I will be thinking of you all xx
