What's your DCat up to today? (Thread 7!)

I wanted to reply to @EachandEveryone but thread number 6 is full! That cooling mat thing looks fab.

What is everyone's cat up to today?

Today I am 26 weeks pregnant and my cat Freya is communing with the baby. Mainly purring and gentle pawing in response to little kicks. I am hoping they'll be friends! Meanwhile Maisie is looking on disdainfully. She's in the huff because I tipped her out of the pregnancy dungarees, which she had commandeered as her personal nest.

What are your furry overlords all up to?

She pretty girl! "I mini-lion. I hunt. Where he go?"

mrsglowglow · 15/05/2019 17:36

Love every one of these cat pictures. Gorgeous kittys.

mrsglowglow · 15/05/2019 17:42

Pebbles is eyeing up the ceiling light fitting as it looks like a fun swing.

Pebbles is SO adorable! I love all of his floof!

autumnboys · 15/05/2019 18:04

Having a massive sulk because we cornered him and defleaed him last night. He is even, shockingly, sleeping on a sofa, not a bed, because that'll show us.

caoraich · 17/05/2019 15:35

Pebbles is spectacular!

Today freya has colonised an IKEA bag that WAS full of clean laundry Hmm

Freya is gorgeous! She reminds me of my little Froggie who I had before I was married.

'I has bag. You cannot has."

I don't know what it is about cats and boxes or bags. Jayda has a thing for plastic grocery bags. Gatsby has a thing for boxes. He has a little Styrofoam box that he decided was his.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 27/05/2019 09:29

Sybil's usual subtle technique to attract our attention. Balance on the railings outside the kitchen window and shout 'let me in!'

My two nearly identical black cats are settling in nicely .
Tarot (girl) likes bamboozling us by being up in the bedroom then teleporting to under the table without us seeing her .

Dexter (boy) has rounder eyes and moves more cautiously though sometimes we're "Is that him....or her?" until we can see their face .

Last night they were wrestling at 1am.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 27/05/2019 10:33

Sybil actually looks quite scary. No wonder TC runs away from her!

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 30/05/2019 11:48

Today Sybil has found the perfect Sybil sized box.

Champagne and chocs? Please explain and while you are at it a TC update would be appreciated! :)

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 30/05/2019 13:04

I'm afraid these were just some boxes I acquired for storage, (after the Champagne and Chocs had been consumed Sad.)
I apologise for the lack of TC updates, I haven't seen him today (perhaps he is terrorising somebody else on the street?)

YetAnotherSpartacus · 30/05/2019 13:12

Sybil looks somewhat annoyed at the lack of champagne and chocs ...

Come back TC! Your fans miss you!

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 30/05/2019 15:19

So four hours after Sybil got in the box she is still there - her only activity has been to turn round in it. She is now snoring loudly Grin.

I love Sybil's little mountain lion face on the railing but I am trying to work out what bit of her is in the last picture.... Is that all tail ?
Or her rump'n'tail?

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 30/05/2019 21:59

It's her back and rump - I think her tail was tucked underneath.

alessandrae83 · 31/05/2019 16:12

Today my new rescue cat that we've had almost a week has mainly been sleeping and then hounding me to go out by standing at the door. Not happening for at least another 3 weeks. She's going to get irritating after a bit with this isn't she lol

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 31/05/2019 17:09

aless we've had our 2 cats nearly two weeks , the female looks longingly out at the garden. I anticipate a load of small 'presents' of the dead/dismembered variety when she goes out .
Her brother might or might not enjoy the garden .

It's weird having a cat in the house at first , we were dilligent with making sure the door was shut , everyone had to knock and wait to come into the back room.

They prowl round the house now quite happily (not ready to go outside for a while yet)

alessandrae83 · 31/05/2019 18:27

When are you planning on letting yours out? Another 2 weeks?

Minkies11 · 31/05/2019 18:33

Piddles is verrrry sleepy after rolling in at 2am last night with me sat up waiting for him and freaking out

What's your DCat up to today? (Thread 7!)
70isaLimitNotaTarget · 31/05/2019 23:07

I'm not sure yet alessa
Their cat door gets fitted tomorrow so it will all be in place for when we do ( and we put their microchip details in)

I'll ask their CPL fosterer (she's going to visit them in a few weeks) they were originally found in a garden ( ferally) so they might take a while to imprint the homing instinct .

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 02/06/2019 13:43

Basil and Sybil were dirty stop outs last night.
Predictably Basil is now curled up asleep on my lap where he would stay all day given a choice.
