I don't think anyone's begun a new thread yet?

Hope you don't mind Cozie. Smile Newboy's Fairy God(cat)mothers love hearing about his progress.

At least you solved the mystery of The Smell. Poor lad acting out like that. I really think Ollivander and Lana have a point though, about Newboy being comfortable with abuse (of course we know you don't abuse him, and a telling off's all he can get.) So ignoring the misdeed, cleaning it up without passing comment nor sending him to his room to brood reflect could in the long run stop the naughtiness? I know this won't get to the root cause of his trauma, but it could stop the lad associating acting out with getting what he wants - ie. a reassuring telling off. Sigh.

I’ve just had some Cystease delivered. Now I have to work out how to use it. Smile

Lanaorana2 · 14/11/2017 16:14

Yay M how are ya.

Packet of ham missing here. Mr C punched me when I attempted to recover the shredded plastic remains from his jaws. Then refused to let me eat its replacement, lovely egg sandwich.

He's in trouble as well - for the first time ever I booted him Off Throw. Like being exiled Off World in Bladerunner, but with grumpy lady soundtrack, not Brian Eno.

cozietoesie · 14/11/2017 16:25

A tad.........headachy are we? Grin

Lanaorana2 · 14/11/2017 17:05

It's not good at Lana Towers. So relieved it's dark now :)

My poor friend rang me from her bed to say that she had several calls from a very full-fat London specialist on her mobile. She was a little hazy on the details - could I remember What He Said??!!

I was able to reassure her that she had, in fact, put the phone down on The Great Man. And ignored subsequent calls. Grin

cozietoesie · 14/11/2017 17:39

Ah. And how long had she been waiting for the call? Grin

RubbishMantra · 14/11/2017 19:49

Hmm, not so fine here either. Ate a not properly reheated out of date rogan josh. Am full of regret (and noisy wind) now.

You’re still alive, though. Smile

Lanaorana2 · 14/11/2017 20:28

Oh Lordy M that's no fun. Stick firm to cuppa and sofa, let no man move you. Or pet lure you out from beneath throw.

Lanaorana2 · 15/11/2017 15:43

You feeling better M - was the curry Too Lightly Warmed?

cozietoesie · 15/11/2017 16:13

Oh....oh.....oh! Grin

cozietoesie · 15/11/2017 16:16

He’s currently in his LWT. (BREAKING: ‘Utility company downgrades profit forecast for winter period’.) Smile

Lanaorana2 · 15/11/2017 20:36

Bet he loves it in there. Is he sleeping a lot - good sign. Also he might start dragging his possessions in, which would be more Good News.

Mr C has robbed a packet of dreamies. Given I have been sick with worry re his feeding, I have now relaxed, taken 2 migraine pills and given him a congratulatory pat.

I've got an eyepatch pirates wear re headache. :) We're still vetting tomorrow as I daren't risk them cancelling me again. Even tho my bank card will be lightly warmed :)

cozietoesie · 15/11/2017 20:57

I’m quite pleased, actually. I had ‘disarranged’ it, having overlooked the little zippable pouch in which to slide his LW pad so had had to just put his pad inside and place a scarf on top. All sorted out yesterday and scarf downstairs for washing. And he still used it last night and today all day! Grin

Lanaorana2 · 15/11/2017 22:25

Yayayya. Have you thought of putting a scarf in that smells of you? Or jersey? He would like that.

cozietoesie · 15/11/2017 22:33

I ‘sort of’ had - but we’re still on baby steps. I’m waiting for him to become addicted to the heat. Grin

cozietoesie · 15/11/2017 22:36

It will be interesting to see how he reacts to me being several sheets to the wind - and having some of the brain waves tamped down! Wink

NoSquirrels · 15/11/2017 22:56

I think this is like a lovely long but cautious courtship which requires the drunken night out with lowering of inhibitions and encroaching on personal space to progress...

Lanaorana2 · 15/11/2017 23:11

Well, once when I got home pissed up, all wobbly in heels, and Mr C was waiting for me, I became overwhelmed with love, seized him and smothered him with kisses. I lifted him up! He didn't like it!

I think I nose-rubbed his tummy as well, all Chardonnay Chateau Spinster fumes in the soft white fur, while he remained calmly 'disappointed'.

Ever since then I get the Chairman of the Temperance Board face. He sniffs my breath when I come in late at night, etc.

cozietoesie · 15/11/2017 23:37

He did notice then. Grin

(You may be right, No. Wink)

Lanaorana2 · 16/11/2017 10:03

Go for it 🙋

Lanaorana2 · 16/11/2017 11:24

Suggest Dbro does Movember at once. We will all sponsor him.
