I don't think anyone's begun a new thread yet?

Hope you don't mind Cozie. Smile Newboy's Fairy God(cat)mothers love hearing about his progress.

A quieter night here. Mr C cheated on me with the heated throw, caught in flagrante on the sofa at 9am. How was yours?

Ollivander84 · 31/10/2017 09:26

I slept in my bed alone all night Shock

Lanaorana2 · 31/10/2017 12:32

Oh O, that's no good.

London's so cold I can't face having a bath. Self and pet still clinging to sofa throw for warmth.

Lanaorana2 · 31/10/2017 20:31

Does anyone fancy sending me a sample pic of their furry to [email protected]? Just need to check calendar admin works.

RubbishMantra · 01/11/2017 09:28

Cozie, MCat used to be horrified at strokes and cuddles. He hadn't allowed anyone to stroke him except me, and DH was Shock when he ambled up to me demanding strokes when we first met. His favourite place is on me these days, the big old softy. Still has a swift chomp now and again just to remind me who's boss... And my goodness, he's getting heavy, around the 7kilo mark I'd say. The vet will be Having Words at his next appointment I reckon... I honestly think the most surly, angsty cats are the ones who attach the most.

Lana, do you still need someone to check the admin at your website?

Lanaorana2 · 01/11/2017 22:21

Yes it's true, MCat is a man of strong love.

Honestly M I think it's fine, nae bother. Don't laff but the cheapest printer is Snappy Snaps at the mo. I'm used to 20k print runs... just waiting for a special offer to come up.

Sneakily want one of those exquisitely handmade frilly porcelain git-trimmed Snappy Snaps wallclocks with Mr C on it...he knows What Time It is. So does Newboy :)

Can someone with a spare moment face emailing me a pic so I can check the email works.

RubbishMantra · 01/11/2017 23:53

He has his own brand of Angry Love, Lana. Grin

Have sent a test pic to the email in your pp. Smile

Am worried about Mr C again. He has sneezed 4x in a week and did not get up for breakfast. He did hassle me to turn the throw on and for a chew, however. Have called vet.

I am sneezing as well, so maybe it's in the air. M and C what do you think?

M - sometimes Angry Love is the best. :)

RubbishMantra · 02/11/2017 15:28

You know your boy best Lana. It's probably nothing, but vets is good for reassurance. Doesn't he get calicivirus flare-ups, if I recall? Could be that?

cozietoesie · 02/11/2017 15:34

I reckon, (going by Seniorboy) that 4 Times in a week is not too worrying. If you are sneezing as well........

Lanaorana2 · 02/11/2017 16:07

Calm has descended, thank you both.

How is Newboy today?

cozietoesie · 02/11/2017 19:14

Petulanting around.

Ollivander84 · 02/11/2017 19:17

Was his food not lightly warmed? Did the bed not generate treats? Wink

cozietoesie · 02/11/2017 19:39

He tried to seek treats without ‘requesting’ them. No result. Grin

Lanaorana2 · 02/11/2017 20:04

Blinkin' teenagers. :)

Lanaorana2 · 02/11/2017 20:06

The pic test worked! I have a beeyotiful portrait of Mcats, lucky me.

Cozie and Olli, you know what to do. Will hoik in the others when they appear.

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/11/2017 20:17

Cozie Is he any more relaxed around you?.

I don't think I have any good ones of asbo, he's all battle scarred now.

He was so pretty as a kitten.

cozietoesie · 02/11/2017 20:23

You must submit the toilet paper one! That’s one of my two favourite pictures. Grin

No - not really.

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/11/2017 20:28

One of our chinchillas was a hard nut to crack. One day she decided we were OK. She was the most intelligent of them all.

cozietoesie · 02/11/2017 20:29

This boy is preternaturally bright.

Lanaorana2 · 02/11/2017 21:14

Fluffy THE TOILET PAPER PIC IS ESSENTIAL or I won't get a fiver out of anyone.

No pressure Grin

Lanaorana2 · 02/11/2017 21:16

Bright people take longer but love harder. Good news although maddening in short term Grin

cozietoesie · 02/11/2017 22:28

I suspect that part of the issue is that this is an old and roomy house. He has his own (heated and carpeted) quarters, he’s fed to a schedule and his tray is cleaned. For a cat who doesn’t know the joys of LUURRVV, what motivation does he have?

Lanaorana2 · 02/11/2017 23:02

Well, I'm under no illusions here. Mr C would be straight off to the divorce/rehoming lawyer if I was late with a meal. It would be me rehomed, of course.

But....give him time. His motivation is curiosity and the awakening of his natural affections. Also, he might LOVE cuddling. I've never met a cat who didn't.

cozietoesie · 02/11/2017 23:05

....late with a meal....

Is that possible? (When you’re home of course.)
