Executive decision by Mr C.

The stairs. (He plays on them during the night.) Seniorboy put on muscle when he came to me so I'm content if Newboy does also. (I keep an eye on him, though, to ensure it's muscle and not fat. Wink)

Allergictoironing · 23/09/2017 19:02

I'm afraid mine have put on a bit of both since they moved in with me. From above they still look lean & mean, but from the side you can see a bit of a saggy tummy on both (specially Boycat, he's overly addicted to Dreamies & I can't resist that look when he jumps onto my bed in the mornings). On the other hand, if you stand behind them running up or down stairs, you can see bulging muscles in the shoulders & bum Grin.

Lanaorana2 · 23/09/2017 19:06

He might be allowed a little bit of fat at First Xmas?

That Face - the first thing I thought of when I enlarged the pic was Tutankhamun flinging himself prostrate in front of it. Rows of slaves following suit, a la David Lean. You can really see why people went in for that kind of thing when you look at Newboy.

Mr C fudgesome all day, snoozing next to me on power pills in bed. We totter up every now and then to dispense/eat roast chicken. Still marinating on the 13-pic prob of the calendar. I'm going to talk to a v swanky bespoke printer on Monday :)

I'm sure I've been saying 'That's an ideal Mr October/Ms May,/Mr September etc' for just months. Grin There have been some truly abandoned cats on the board in the last year. (Abandoned in the sense of 'showing off' and not 'neglected'.) Wink

First Christmas will be ......interesting. Maybe he'll be over his obsession with food by then? (I know. Fat chance. Sad)

Ollivander84 · 23/09/2017 21:22

"I be on calendar now human?"

This is a good January picture. It's how I feel in January.

Of course you are. Ribbon face temptation, you.

ALL CALENDAR PIX ARE ON HOLD UNTIL I TALK TO THE PRINTER.

Just had a football in the face, yes, at 915 at night, by youths outside the front door. Hmmm. Something going v wrong around these leafy parts. It was a mistake admittedly, but that hardly improves things given I was in the very spot someone got a knife in the heart 24 hours ago. Don't fancy a mistake like that.

I shouted 'Apologise' to the youth. He wittily retorted 'No'. So I swished into M&S pretending to call the police. When I swished out, they had scarpered.

Been reading all the Newboy threads with interest.
PicklePig would love to say hello. He's keeping me company while I'm recuperating from some quite nasty surgery.

fluffy I love that January pic. Grin

cozietoesie · 23/09/2017 21:40

Hope the recuperation is going well, Germ.

cozietoesie · 23/09/2017 21:45

Awful, Lana.

In your face implies really lousy ball control by the way. I once silenced a group of youngsters playing footie wildly by advising them to 'keep the ball down and keep it under control'. OK - I advised them fairly forcefully. Grin They slunk away in pure embarrassment.

Lanaorana2 · 23/09/2017 21:58

Grin Back of the net C

Am back in bed feeling sorry for self but now cawing with laffs, and have stopped repeating the witty comeback that I only thought of just now. Little sods.

F that is a beautiful impressionist portrait but somehow it suggests a timidity and delicacy that his ardent fans would not normally associate with asbo. Could we have another shot - loo roll shot - to redress the reticence balance editorially? To coin a local expression, asbo is bitchnip and we want a full frontal.

Pickle pig is a heartbreaker, esp in his swish city boy threads.

Newboy is really extending himself now Grin

Gosh I love kitty pictures!

Dodie66 · 24/09/2017 08:30

Here is a better picture. She is a bit old and doddery now and hobbles when she walks. She is bit crafty though and will sit and wait for me to pick her up and put her on the sofa next to me and also wait for me to lift her down. But if I am not in the room she gets down on her own. She sits next to me and pats my hand for me to make a fuss of her.

cozietoesie · 24/09/2017 08:40

That is a curiously arresting gaze.

Lanaorana2 · 24/09/2017 09:29

She is outrageously beautiful - with a look that could silence Trump :)

Little M's the same age as Newboy, cozie, and still very kitten-like. He announced himself by sailing horizontally through the air, across the room into my line of vision this morning. Landed onto his rubber band with a thump. Newboy's very playful still, isn't he? Will he play with you yet? Like with a fishing rod type toy? It's amazing watching an athletic cat flying through the air with the greatest of ease.

cozietoesie · 24/09/2017 15:57

As I think I said upthread, he may be (officially) a chocolate point but temperamentally, I reckon he's a sealpoint. And they're very solemn cats. He's not into playing just yet but I have no doubt he'll nominate something when he is. Smile (He's currently on his radiator bed again.)

Lanaorana2 · 24/09/2017 18:09

Mr C can be a pompous git. He is 14, approx. Two min ago he stumped up to me and, pawing fatly, killed the neck ribbons on my new dress.

C I reckon Newboy might have a twinkle in his eye someday.

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 25/09/2017 00:26

I don't know. Firstcat - a sealpoint - was desperately loving but Oh-so-serious about life. Every game was treated like a military campaign with him.

Ollivander84 · 25/09/2017 00:45

I have returned from work. Ollie is celebrating by doing zoomies with that damn jingle ball and his mousie. Seems to involve using my chest as a trampoline Hmm
