We live in the countryside and we were walking when we found the tiny one. I took her to the vet straightaway to get her checked. She has nasty diahorea but is quite bright otherwise. They gave me a deworming, a probiotic thingy...I try to give her kitty milk but she is not keen. She drinks water and some specialised food that I bought from the vet. I'm planning on offering food every 3 hours : milk-food-water...she is asleep on heating pad on low. What else can I do !? I'm really worried she is not drinking the milk :(

*Dragonites - that kitten is GORGEOUS - I love a tortie (my favourite!)

Now I'm worried sick about little Bella. I do hope she is okay.

Yawnyawnallday · 28/11/2016 16:44

She has similar markings to our cat - white milk stain on one side of her face. Everything crossed for Bella.

Nothing has changed since this afternoon's update, the vet said she was definitely brighter, let's hope she carrys on improving.

Good luck. Sounds promising.

Herecomedanotherone · 28/11/2016 19:02

Glad the updates are so positive. She's clearly one determine little puss. Go Bella! 🙏😺

EstelleRoberts · 28/11/2016 19:02

So sorry to hear little Bella is poorly at the vets. Keeping all fingers and toes crossed for a speedy recovery.

cozietoesie · 28/11/2016 19:20

Has the vet said anything about her coming home? Smile

user1477462353 · 28/11/2016 19:37

Cozie - I have signed her up for a 3 days hospitalisation (it's costing a bomb)...I'm too scared imagining her coming back home yet ! I hope the poo test is not gong to come up with something too bad !

Vinorosso74 · 28/11/2016 22:24

Fingers and paws crossed she keeps improving!

ProfessorPickles · 28/11/2016 22:35

So pleased to have got to the end and hear she is currently doing well, my heart sank when you said she was really unwell.
Fingers crossed that she continues to improve! Smile

user1477462353 · 29/11/2016 08:32

Update - I didn't speak to the vet but the receptionist told me she was quite bright, eating but with syringe but still a bit of diarrhoea. So getting better slowly I guess. The vet will call later. It sounds goodish ?

Sounds mucho good! SmileSmileSmile Bella, our little fighter SmileSmile she knows she has a family that loves her now so she will fight harder!!! She will be fine, I feel it Smile

user1477462353 · 29/11/2016 17:05

The results from the poo sample came back and she tested positive for giardia, it's the best outcome considering I expected much worst. The vet started the treatment yesterday, it's a 7 days courses. He said she was going to be alright !

Fluffycloudland77 · 29/11/2016 17:11

Well that's a relief. Can you bring her home now?.

FromIbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 29/11/2016 17:12

I started reading your update and was almost too scared to carry on reading but I'm so glad it looks like she's going to be alright!

She looks so adorable and she's found a place in your home and hearts.

EstelleRoberts · 29/11/2016 17:13

Brilliant news!! I'm so pleased it's something that's easily fixed.

Yawnyawnallday · 29/11/2016 17:17

Hurray!

BastardGoDarkly · 29/11/2016 17:19

Never heard of it, but massive PHEW for Bella, yes, can she come home? and pose for pics

user1477462353 · 29/11/2016 17:21

Tomorrow evening I think !

cozietoesie · 29/11/2016 17:24

Achhh. Well at least they've tracked it down and can treat it. Giardia isn't a nice thing at all.

crystalballbroke · 29/11/2016 17:27

Great news.
