We've never had a dog sleep in our bedroom. But our dear Golden, who's 4, has just gotten over a tummy bug and is being very barky from his den in the utility room. We're close to cracking and having him up with us.
How many of you allow dogs in your bedrooms?

She sleeps at the foot of the bed and I just love it. I find being close to a sleeping animal one of life's joys. I woke up this morning with her head resting on my thigh, little face waiting patiently for me to wake up <3 that said, she might end up too big and so might have to be moved back to her bed next to mine, but will definitely always be welcome in the bedroom.

Current view :)

Oh our pup slept with us camping as there wasn’t space for her bed in our van - woke up to this

A dog under the duvet is one of life’s greatest pleasures IMO.

My 4 year-old goldie chooses whether to sleep with me in my room or stay downstairs but if he doesn't come up when I go I leave the bedroom door ajar so he can come in when he wants to. He jumps on the bed first thing for cuddles before I get up. Best start to the day ever!

The BT side stare........ nothing other like it. Awwww, this photo has made me happy, lost our lad 3 months ago. Miss him snoring whilst lay on my legs in bed, I used to have to shake him awake as he was so loud!

Ours goes completely loopy if allowed on our bed at home. She doesn't settle and bounces around pouncing on our heads.
When we are on holiday she lays between us, gives a little sigh and falls asleep!

Our late dog slept in her bed in our room, I used to absolutely love the sound of her snoring.
Our current dog sleeps in the ensuite shower, although he hops on to the bed if he hears anything - I think it's to be protective

I always said no. And now here we are 😂
I don’t let him up the pillow end though

We ended up buying a superking after our resolve broke on day 4 to make him sleep downstairs in a crate! We now have his baby sister too, and despite only being 6kg each, they seem to take up so much room.

OH absolutely loves having them in bed with us. I like it but don't love it. Honestly if I could choose, I'd give them the run of the downstairs together and keep our bed as our bed. I do enjoy the snuggles but not the way one lays across our pillows and the other lays between us. I also miss our sex life!

All our dogs have always slept in our bedroom. I know they appreciate the pack all being together and so do I. I love all the little snoring noises at night and all the happiness each morning as we all wake up 😍

dog Is now 2 and has slept at the bottom of my bed since maybe 8 months. Didn’t get on with the crate - she wanted to be with her humans. In summer she will sleep on the floor beside the bed and I can hear the little sigh as she wriggles and slumps into place. Other times bottom of the bed, mornings she creeps to the top of the bed. If she needs comfort strange noises outside she shoots up to the top of the bed to have her paw held.

Our dog has a bed in our bedroom.

He never tries to get on the bed and doesn't wake us up.
