Does anyone know what breed of dog this is?

It's an Irish Terrier right enough.

It looks very like an elderly Airedale. As they age, their coats tend to fade, especially when quite long. At least all the five Airedale’s we have had have done this. Too big to be a pure Irish or Wheaten.👍

You can get solid colour Airedales they just aren't recognisable as a 'purebred' by the Kennel club or recognised by us mere humans....they aren't very common.....so maybe it is an Airedale!

I’m an Airedale owner and indeed the photo (if not photoshoped) looks very Airedale like. I’ve heard of cinnamon coloured Airedale’s though not seen one. The colour of their coat does fade over the years.

It's definitely not a Spinone in the first picture, though the Wire haired viszla upthread isn't, and is one (a spin I mean).

At least it looks very much like a Spinone I mean. I'm plumping for Irish terrier in the ad.

Airedale coats do vary. We had two litter sisters, one was the usual Black and Tan, her sister was more black and silver. We also had a dog who had quite a lot of black, and he was more silver than tan. I was going more on the size really. BIL has an Airedale cross Irish Terrier. Fabulous looking dog, big stature with a gorgeous deep red coat.😄

Looks like an Irish terrier to me too. I have been looking at them and wheatens a lot cos I wants one.

Poor DDog (also a terrier) is very elderly and not likely to live another year so time to start thinking about what I will do when she's gone

I'm not a big dog person but it looks a lot like my friends Italian Spinone in that picture

I think it's a labradoodle my sister has I e looks exactly that but white over seen that ginger colour too though

Irish terrier, I have one who is much smaller but have seen massive ones!

The body and coloring looking like my friends labradoodle (Lab x Poodle) but the face is that of a terrier and it is bigger than his dog. Might have Irish Wolfhound in their too?
