And too stocky in the body.

Whitney168 · 26/01/2019 14:20

Not a HWH Visla, not a Bouvier.

It should be a terrier with that front construction.

Isithalftermyet · 26/01/2019 14:22

To my eye, the collar is sitting really high. Much higher than it does on my Wheaten X.

In fact the dog in your photo doesn’t like much like a WHV either! It doesn’t look like a pure breed Vizsla to me.

SirVixofVixHall · 26/01/2019 14:31

It isn’t an Irish terrier. I think it is a labradoodle. It is identical to my friend’s LD.

SirVixofVixHall · 26/01/2019 14:35

Have just had another look at the ears, which aren’t like my first thought of labradoodle, and I suppose it could be a large Irish, the ears look right, but he is very much on the large side, so I think more likely to be a cross breed. My Irish terrier is shaggy like that at the moment, but she is a lot smaller. The males are bigger but not normally as big as the dog in the pic.

Sproutingcorm · 26/01/2019 14:35

I don't really care what it is, just really enjoying the pictures of these utterly gorgeous dogs Grin

williteverend99 · 26/01/2019 14:40

Looks like an Airedale to me. Colours have probably been photoshopped.

SirVixofVixHall · 26/01/2019 14:41

Definitely not an airdale.

SirVixofVixHall · 26/01/2019 14:42

I do now think large male Irish, or Irish cross.

Ironmanrocks · 26/01/2019 14:48

She is apparently. Though I don't really care, she is just gorgeous and I love her lots. [love]

Ironmanrocks · 26/01/2019 14:48

why is there no heart emoji??!!

Twistedinknots · 26/01/2019 14:49

Call clearview and ask!

Or does that take the fun out of it?!

Chesneyhawkes1 · 26/01/2019 15:07

Maybe the size has been photoshopped? Cos it so looks like a terrier but way too big, the colour, muzzle everything.

TaintforTheLikesOfWe · 26/01/2019 15:10

I reckon it's an Airedale crossed with an Italian Spinone.

Purplecatshopaholic · 26/01/2019 15:23

Will someone please phone the company and ask - we NEED to know!!

Bustermorgan40 · 26/01/2019 15:33

I think it is a terrier.probably like said Wheaton terrier.

DarlingNikita · 26/01/2019 15:39

I think it's a large terrier type rather than a wolfhound or deerhound. The face shape is wrong.

Isithalftermyet · 26/01/2019 15:53

Sorry, no reply from Clearview as yet... They may be closed over the weekend I guess.

Loving all the gorgeous dog photos though!

I thought that I'd just get two replies with exactly what it is - so I reckon its going to be a cross breed.

SirVixofVixHall - is your Irish Terrier easy around the house? I'd love to have one but have heard that they are not an easy dog for a family?

Blooger · 26/01/2019 16:14

Looks like a cross between maybe wolfhound or deerhound with Airedale or standard poodle. Airedale/poodle would give him that lovely coat, which looks more curly than the deerhound or wolfhound coat.

WiddlinDiddlin · 26/01/2019 16:22

Certainly isn't a deerhound or wolfhound.

Airedale or Irish Terrier, either way, an unkempt, ungroomed version of.

winsinbin · 26/01/2019 16:22

That room has too many nooks and crannies that spiders could hide in.

Gone4Good · 26/01/2019 16:24

Window is far too high. I like to gaze out.

AcrossthePond55 · 26/01/2019 16:25

I'm loving these dog pics!!!!
