Oh no... You wont have hurt her. They are pretty resilient.

The only reason why I mentioned this is because my friend's dalmation puppy used to do the 1 hour walks as a 3 month olf puppy and he was diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia at 5 months. No one knows if those are connected, but the Vet asked her to cut down on the walks. He also told her not to make him play fetch for more than 5 minutes because they don't know how to stop and turn while playing and end up hurting themselves.

I appreciate all the advice, I really do. I just love her so much and take the responsibility fully that I felt awful that I'd done the wrong thing. At the moment I'm not very well so with being exhausted as well I'm taking everything to heart Blush.

I could post a new photo??

She'll be fine Smile - she's got a fabulously caring and responsible owner. There will occasionally be times when you get things wrong but everyone does - we're human, they're dogs and that's life...

And of course you should post a new photo Grin

Thank you very much. That's why I was so upset. I didn't want anyone to think we weren't trying to do our best.

Showing off her new lead and collar.

She had us up at 4:20, 5:20, 6:20.. I had woken at 2:45 and have had 20 minutes sleep since so today is going to be fun.

Just looking on line for some toys that really exercise her brain as she's very intelligent and I think needs to be occupied as she loves learning etc. Any recommendations are appreciated.

She is way too cute!! Trust me OP, we have all made mistakes and the pups have all been OK. Just relax and enjoy Jess.

Have you tried using Kongs? You can stuff it with treats and freeze it as well. That keeps them busy for a while.

We have a long but I think she's too little at the moment. I may have bought the wrong size. The pet shop lady was quite adamant.

Jess just did lie down, roll over and opened her mouth so I could fish out the moss and grass she had. So clever.

She's so fluffy!! My parents bought a GR the year I moved out of home, and sadly lost him earlier this year aged 12. He was a beaut of a dog and a gem around my kids even as babies. They're superb dogs Smile

Did well last night. Woke at four and five something but settled very quickly until 6:25 Shock.

Thanks, going . He had mega esophagus, and developed pneumonia as a complication of that. It was very sad and sudden :(

When I lost my cat I had two days notice she was going to be put to sleep even though we knew she was ill. It was devastating and she's been gone for more then three years and even this week I was wondering where she was.
