Just setting this up before the old one fills up.

For anyone new, this is a cafe where you can come, eat (calorie free) drink and be merry.

There are kittenbees in the café, which are kittens the size of bees, they are friendly but do nibble the pastries.

Outside are their larger 'cousins' the Bumblecats, they are not as friendly.

Leo is a Lemur who now runs the outdoor dog wash.

Florence is a French pastry chef, Fernando is a cocktail waiter.

Outside is a water feature and a petting zoo.

I'll send him over and we can find out.

It's been a while since I was in here but I love popping in and seeing the various menus. I've brought some Sicilian breakfast ready for tomorrow - ice-cream sandwiches (scoop of ice-cream in a brioche bun) and lemon granita for next time it's hot. I'll pop them in the freezer.

I've still never had kedgeree in real life so I might have to give that a go.

Cereal? Not a problem. I will pout out a selection. Florence is making cornflake cakes and rice crispy cakes. Fernando is doing something interesting with rice wine.

<IRL I do this for my dad, I don't eat cereal so when he visits I get one of those variety packs o the small boxes>

I have a sake set at home , it doesn't get much use so everyone is welcome to use it .

I don't eat cereal often either so I buy them little boxes sometimes but there is always a coupe I don't like , they get fed to the birds but it's a expensive way to feed them !

That's true, but you could give them to a food bank. My dad never eats to coco pops but my carer likes them so they do all get eaten.

Well I'm wanting something hot today but simple so mushrooms on toast. Florence is making quiche for bait and Fernando is making limoncello cocktails.

Mum mushrooms fried in butter on toast , count me in .
Does anyone want some chicken wings or fritters?
This is about half of what I've cooked today .
There is spicy , lime , garlic , pineapple, ginger and plain versions.
The dark ones are not burnt , they were cooked with ginger syrup so brown quickly

Well it is quiet, I'm going to take a dip in the pool and take Leo for a walk.

Its very warm here today so I may join you for a dip in the pool .
irl i am about to go and jet wash my tiny back yard if i can find the sodding hose tap connector thingy.

I am only cooking for myself , I have some long shifts next week , so as well as a lunch I like to take a snack with me , they are now bagged up and in the freezer along with a load of curries , chill, speg bol and other tasty lunches .
In the evening I just take a bag of curry , one of rice or pasta and one of chicken wings .
I cba making lunch everyday !

Well it is warm but wet here so I'm making a huge pot of tea, I'm making eggs, fried, boiled, scrambled, coddled, baked and convent.

Florence is making a selection of breads to go with them and Fernando is making cocktails with fruit juices.

Good morning @sashh , the weather is odd today isnt it, its very warm , windy , heavy showers and trying to be sunny all at the same time here.

Please can I have a couple of boiled eggs and soldiers, I'm really thirsty too so a pint of soda water too please .

The cooking takes me a good few hrs each Sunday but I always cook more than I am going to eat that week so I build up a stock and get a week off cooking every now and then .

Boiled eggs, soldiers and soda water all on the way.

Morning. Well we didn't have a storm, we didn't even have rain, just thunder. It's hot and muggy.

Well to breakfast. Lets head for Costa Rica. Coffee and hot chocolate, batidos, fresh fruit, gallo pinto, salicho, fried plantain and eggs.

Florence is making pan casero and Fernando is making guaro cocktails try the coco loco.

There was no storm here either but it is freshers here this morning. That may change when the sun gets up .

I had to Google a couple of them , salicho = sparkling tea ? That sounds a little to adventurous for this time of the morning, can I stick to coffee and eggs please .
