The only thing that would have made it better would have been for us to see inside the pub and see Chris, Ray, Shaz, Sam and Annie standing at the bar.

Very pleased with the ending, and at least they left the door open. It's nice to think Gene is out there looking after the coppers.

Sam went to the pub, helped by Gene, cos he said he had to go. But, why did Sam leave beforehand and then come back? I sort of get it but need someone else to make it click properly.

so if Gene said that (about going to the pub with Sam) why didn't he know he was dead then? and surely he must have met Keats before???

Can someone pliz explain? I had to rush into the kitchen at a crucial time and missed a chunk. I saw a scarecrow and then Gene and Alex in a 50s house. Is Gene the young guy that's been haunting Alex? Did he die and just not realise? Is he like a facilitator between dead policemen and heaven? Help!

Bloody Hell!! I've kept off this thread all week because I didn't want to stumble on any spoilers but I have to say what fantastic acting from Phil when he realised Alex had just dug up his body - did you see the shock on his face?

Brilliant, but it was the least sexy kiss ever - I was v. disappointed, after all that build up.
