Channel 4 tonight, featuring a lovely young couple from our village.

Wondering, they don't want to give the epidural too early I think.

Epi stung like killer wasp going in. Ouch. Local was awful too.

Fabio looks like he has the patience of a saint.

Luckily.

At what point do they give epis then, if 2cm was too early? Doesn't there also come a point hwen it's too late as well?

Poor old Sam, hope the pethidine helps her calm down a bit.

Wish they'd update lovely Lisa from last week. Is it just going to be these two?

Apparently my Epi hurt me... I was too out my mind to remember but according to DH I was shouting to the poor lady " Do you mind" "Your hurting me!"

Sam's mum is good, kind but firm!

I'm sure I was pacing at home at 3cm.....sure I was. DH came in with cups of tea at one of her paddys and just raised his eyebrows!

How long does an epidural last? Won't it wear off before delivery?

I think 3cm is established labour, before that I think things can slow down and go on over days, so I guess it makes sense to hold off the epi till at least 3cm.

Just welled up when Ed said, "there is always going to be someone better than me"

she's very lucky to have gotten an epi that fast. i had to wait hours for one with a back to back baby who had her hand up over her head.

Then, had to wait 3 hours for one after a 1.5 hour ambulance ride from hell. 9.5lbs. baby with cord wrapped round his neck so he wouldn't descend.

Joy's being a bit of a spoilt princess about her lunch. She won't get food that's hot once the baby's arrived!

Poor Joy, off on the wander for some food while her DP goes to Burger King.

I thought it was 5cm before epidural? Can't remember but it was only a couple of years ago. Mine was bliss. Even gave birth while it was still effective so no pain at all. Heavenly.

I'd be just as irritable as Joy in the circumstances.

I loved Lisa too such a lovely girl I thought.
