LOL at "13 floors is too good to miss"

McDreamy · 23/02/2010 21:26

Where was she when I tried to have my VBAC!

Alambil · 23/02/2010 21:26

what does hip swinging do?

notnowbernard · 23/02/2010 21:27

God, the journey to the labour ward...

I couldn't sit down in the car, I felt like I had a bowling ball hanging out of my backside!

Had to kneel over the back seat... tres dignified

LadyBlaBlah · 23/02/2010 21:27

OMG who is that f*&king woman - I would have sworn viciously at her if she was like that at my labours!

Heated · 23/02/2010 21:27

13 flights of stairs being too good to miss, lol?

And why does everyone take pillows with them?

Alambil · 23/02/2010 21:28

but what did it doooooo? going down the stairs, I mean....

JollyPirate · 23/02/2010 21:28

Helps the pelvis open, baby move down, good application of presenting part onto the cervix. Stairs can be great if labour slows down for getting it all going again....

PictureThis · 23/02/2010 21:29

because Joy's got them all

Alambil · 23/02/2010 21:29

oh sorry x post!

Megletwantsittobesummer · 23/02/2010 21:29

management bloke, for example, is a twat

expatinscotland · 23/02/2010 21:29

Oh, notnow, DH was like, 'I'm speeding and you're not wearing your seatbelt! What should I do if the cops stop me!?'

I screeched, 'Tell them to call a fucking ambulance then!'

crankytwanky · 23/02/2010 21:29

Because there are no pillows heated!

Did you not see Joy last week?

McDreamy · 23/02/2010 21:30

Oh I have that book but haven't got round to reading it!

ilovesprouts · 23/02/2010 21:30

i took mine x2

emma1977 · 23/02/2010 21:30

Because hospital pillows are rock solid and covered in nasty crinkly plastic. And there's never enough.

notnowbernard · 23/02/2010 21:31

Oh how I am looking forward to the Summer! (DC3 due)

sparkle09 · 23/02/2010 21:31

Alambil · 23/02/2010 21:31

Alambil · 23/02/2010 21:32

I don't that Sarah really wants a VBAC - I don't think she really minds how the baby comes out - I think it's her husband who is putting all this pressure on her - WHY !!!!

emma1977 · 23/02/2010 21:34

Darren- such a ray of postivity! Just what his wife needs.

expatinscotland · 23/02/2010 21:34

I always took: my own sheets, pillows and blankets, travel kettle (with tea, packets of sugar and UHT milk), my own pain meds (i know that's wrong but if they answered the fecking call bell i wouldn't have to bother), food (not just snacks) in addition to my arnica/witch hazel/aromatherapy oils, towels, everything for the baby.

Darren is so encouraging, isn't he?

Wanker.

McDreamy · 23/02/2010 21:34
