Am recording it all - apart from Dinnerladies, which I have entirely on DVD.

Think Victoria Wood has always been underrated, dinnerladies was brilliant, used to love the chats between Mavis from Corrie and the other woman whose name escapes me.

Watched that criminal intent thingie a coiple of months ago and made DP jump when I shrieked 'ooh look at Twink'.

And I love let's do it as well.

dinnerladies continually on Uk Gold, sometimes sit down and watch marathon sessions of about 8 episodes in one go.

DP normally buggers off out when those days occur.

I thought of you yesterday GetorfMoiLand, as the Waitrose Studio bit was open. DS and I were lurking in the cafe while DH shopped which was a total result

I remember one of her half-hour set comedies about life in a TV station - some sort of PR woman that she barely knew stopped her in a corridor and hissed "I think I'm getting my period!" with an excited smile on her face - no further explanation. So funny.

I love the way she captures characters' funniness in an affectionate, rather than a cruel way.

Got Acorn Antiques on DVD. It is treasured.

Mrs Overall comic genius. And I absolutely love Celia Imrie in all her guises.
