torchwood made me cry several time last nite.....so gutted its not on 4 longer x

I am enjoying it but do feel the Torchwood team could all do with losing a bit of weight. They don't look very fit to go running around after alients. John Barrowman's handsome face isn't quite as handsome as it was a few years ago when he was slimmer.

What ARE they giving them to eat on set?

Bear with me here but just a weird idea - what if it's the cildren controlling everything? I eman the whole look of the 456, the mimicking, the ridiculous green splurtung stuff... just an idea.

Was not expecting Ianto to die. Wonder if the virus is not deadly, if all the people are not dead and it is all a bluff? I dunno just seems a bit daft to kill off nearly all of the TW team and spend time prepping Ianto and Jack's relationship to stop it before Jack got a chance to show much interest.

Just speculating...

Although they are fed by F.A.T.T.S team and have top class nosh from what I've seen when I've walked past their sets unwittingly in town(even the Weevils get vases of lillies and linen tablecloths!). The F.A.T.T.S. vans are back by the uni again at the moment and have been for a week or two so I do wonder whether they are filming TW again - or something else.

They just look a bit podgy and if it's going to come down to a face-to-face with one of those slimey creatures, Lois looks like the only one who could run more than a block without collapsing.

That episode just freaked me out, made me feel sick and made me cry. Damn. (and that was even after accidently being spoiled for poor Ianto by clicking on Threads I'm On last night)

About the Hub being destroyed... I thought the next series was being filmed in HD, and that's why it needed to go? Can't remember where I read that though. I doubt they'd cancel it, not unless JB refused to do more, and he's been complaining that there were only 5, he wanted more.

Sorry if this has been asked already - but I was wondering last night why they haven't called The Doctor for help? Can understand if they didn't want to do a tie in, but would have been good to have some explanation of why he is not there? Or did I miss that?

Oh, I didn't know she was pregnant. But actually she's not the chubbiest. Every one seems to be fat if they come from Cardiff, according to Torchwood (apart from Jack's daughter), and everyone in London is slim. Discuss.

abraid's right, they've all porked right up. eve miles, imo, is looking more lovely for it, but cap'n jack is aging quickly for a fixed point in time and space.

I think it may be because TW uses so many Cardiff-based actors and extras and people are heavier in South Wales than they are in the London area. (This is said with no axe to grind: I love Cardiff and the Welsh and spent happy times working there.)

oh stop going on about the weight thing! personally i think it's great there's normal looking people on the telly running (or not!) around the world and saving it!

Captain Jack doesn't stay a fixed point forever, though. He has to put on lots of weight so that his head swells to an enormous size, and he grows tendrils on the side of it. He also needs to put in an order for one of those enormous fishtanks, too.

And forget to use suncream and moisturiser for the next 300 years...

Cap'n Jack could definitely sacrifice himself to the aliens as he's already looking a bit Botoxy, they can't keep him Barrowman the same age. Even Data in Star Trek volunteered to age himself eventually. And that would explain why the Face of Boe is in a glass jar...

subject change: I think the very cool thing about TW is that when it started then Cap Jack was 'sort of' in the closet and the gay kissing was 'oooo!'. But now, at the end of one espisode the big kiss was between two men and it didn't seem unusual at all.

OK so I don't watch any telly apart from this and DrW so the rest of the world might have moved on already...but I thought it was really positive.

A lot of people on the DW forum are in denial about Ianto. He's dead! Get over it! I suppose he wasn't one of my favourite characters so it's easy for me to say.

MMM nothing said in info on TW series 4 about him being there or not.....

I didn't like Ianto much. A bit too pouty. His sister looks more fun.
