Actually, there are better neck photos (already linked in the thread, actually) That gif draws the eye to the collarbone, rather, don't you think?

wanders off purring

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 07/01/2009 12:16

Oh lordy all this talk about necks and collar bones. I think Kaythesimperer and Notveryscaryteacher are about to turn into vampires!

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 07/01/2009 12:21

Here you are ladies. Hot off the press. I'm loving the scarf. And that's definitely hair I could run my fingers through.

Elffriend · 07/01/2009 12:30

It is strangely comforting that I am not the only one with a DT obsession. I do worry about myself at times but it shows no sign of abateing.

However, I am deeply of those who have managed to see him in Hamlet. I love that play, have seen it many times but, alas, never with DT and the reviews have been so fabululous it is making me pace....

DS and a lack of any viable babysitter makes it impossible (even assuming I could get tickets)

KayHarkerREFUSESTOSimper · 07/01/2009 12:34

Couldn't take your eyes off him indeed. I'm having palpitations just remembering him lifting his arms over his head, and the t-shirt rising up at his waist...

KayHarkerREFUSESTOSimper · 07/01/2009 12:35

Elffriend, we need to seriously lobby the RSC to release a video. They'd make a mint.

scaryteacher · 07/01/2009 12:38

A friend of mine wanted bits on Shakespeare for Christmas. I joked that I couldn't get Hamlet tickets...and she said 'no need, I saw him in it at Stratford and in LLL as well'. I'm not talking to her now. He was brilliant so she says. She never realised that Shakespeare could be funny until she saw Hamlet (science teacher, mind you).

scaryteacher · 07/01/2009 12:38

A DVD would be good, and I agree, they'd coin it in.

Elffriend · 07/01/2009 12:40

God yes. I could at least then lock myself in a darkened room and shiver away to myself.

There would also be the advantage of not being arrested for shouting, "I love you!" and running onto the stage at an inopportune moment...

I may not be kidding there.

Not sure I could cope with him in the flesh.

At least not without restraints.

I am actually a sensible grown-up in a parallel universe.

Elffriend · 07/01/2009 12:41

In high definition please.

Housemum · 07/01/2009 12:46

Hamlet was fab - and I'm v of my friend who saw it the following week as she waited at the stage door for an autograph - she said DT was like "a bouncy Tigger, all excited". One thing I would say from Hamlet (aside from the fab acting of all the cast) is that he is soooo skinny in RL.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 07/01/2009 12:56

How are you planning on feeding your offspring this month now you've spent everything on DT?

OggsfrogisaBadWolf · 07/01/2009 13:00

She's thinking of leaving home anyway since I called her 'David' last night

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 07/01/2009 13:04

Well that's one less mouth to feed. Have you packed her bags for her yet?

Housemum. I don't like skinny men, despite his all round general fanciability. I'm with Donna's 'skinny-boy' comments.

KayHarkerREFUSESTOSimper · 07/01/2009 13:11

Oh, I thought I would be ridiculous when I went to Hamlet. I even practised not squeeing when he came onstage.

But when it came to it, I was fine, and basically just drawn in to the story, which really was very well done. I did have a bit of a struggle in the first exchange with Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, which was very rude and very funny, and in which you see his nekkid belly (if ye're looking), and also when he said 'Did you think I meant Cunt...try manners?' in reference to lying between maids legs.

But compared to the Christmas confidential, in which he said his groin needed some attention, and I literally stuck my hand up, I was really, really good.

KayHarkerREFUSESTOSimper · 07/01/2009 13:14

Zeb, it's the charm, though, not just the physical. I can understand women just seeing still pictures of him and 'not getting it'. But once you see him actually moving, it's a whole other matter.

I seriously don't understand how a woman could resist him in Blackpool with those lovely brown eyes, declaring desperately passionate things.

OggsfrogisaBadWolf · 07/01/2009 13:26

Oh it's definately the whole package... the eyes, the bod, the height, the voice, oh the voice.

I even bought one of dd's christmas presents solely because it was read by DT (a 'How to be a Pirate' by Cressida Cowell audiobook)

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 07/01/2009 13:33

Oh I know. As a moving walking talking person, he is devastatingly charming, whether in RL or acting (well, maybe Secret Smile aside). And definitely definitely fanciable. And that's enough for me to set aside concerns about bodyweight! I always fancy men through my head - looks are important, but a gorgeous dummy never rocks my boat. That's probably why I always fancy actors than, say, footballers or pop stars.

KayHarkerREFUSESTOSimper · 07/01/2009 13:34

a-harrr!

That just reminds me of the pirate-sex thread

meridian · 07/01/2009 13:44

curs up quietly in a corner with sketch book and pen in hand prepared to be amused by thread

meridian · 07/01/2009 13:45

curs? got my typing just keeps getting worse and worse.. that was meant to be "curls" .. slinks back into hideyhole corner

OggsfrogisaBadWolf · 07/01/2009 14:03

I have the name PirateSex .

Kay, I noticed that the DT gif was labelled #1...

erm....

you don't happen to have any more by any chance?

Dior · 07/01/2009 14:07

I am very at those who managed to see him. I happened to go when he had hurt his back, three weeks ago. For some reason, I just knew deep down that I would not get to see him. It was still fantastic, but I kept thinking how much sexier interesting it would have been with him there.
