is it just me or is tom overindulged rude and immature

if my 14 tear old was as rude and pathetic as that she would not be carried around on my back!

oh but doesn't that dad go on and on and on and on and on..... to v little effect. and all dragged out over 24 hours...... ffs. everyone feeling all crap and hard done by seemingly permanently..... it's not a load of fun being in that family is it?

I love this family. Tom as far as I can see is the average teenage boy and definately not as bad as some. I think Emily gets a rough deal from her dad alot of the time but I think this is because they are very alike. The family as a whole is very loving and natural.

I love Tom, but he does seem younger than 14.

The dad is far too shouty and aggressive and the mum seems to just opt out of it all. She seems a bit spaced out.

DH is horrified by it all but he is an only child. I have siblings and I think it is all fairly normal at that age.

why emily? she seems to have rather opted out dont you think? if she doesnt agree with his parenting decisions / style you;ve yet to see her talking to him sensibly.....

I love the way this programme always finishes with them doing something sweet together...

this week was mum 'n' dad slowdancing and looking rather into each other

last week mum and one of the girls dancing together

Hi CFF! I've seen her try to talk to him, but he never actually listens. She doesn't stand much of a chance. He seems to rule the roost and likes it that way. It seems to me she puts up with it because she has to. What choice does she have?

Apart from that, I think they're a lovely family. I like the way the dad hugs and kisses the girls. It's beautiful to watch and brings a lump to my pre-menstrual throat.

I was impressed with them this week - thought the dad tried really hard to be fair. The children seem close and loving to me, the only problem i could see was at some points the mum wanted to be more friends with the daughter than a support to her husband- but it's a hard line to get right

But i find them refreshingly true to (my) life!

I was just thinking that - I hope I cuddle my kids as much when they're moody teens- can't rememberany cuddles after I was 11 other than from friends.

Yes. I said to my dp that I hope he still cuddles our boys and girl when they are 14 like the dad did Tom.

No!!! Ledodgy. The house is horrible. It looks cold and damp. What are those things that look like web cams on the walls but coloured to match the walls?

Well I did assume that but was deeply engrossed by the fact they managed to colour co-ordinate them to the exact shades.

I think the house is horrible. The bathroom seems to be accessed off the m & d's bedroom, although there is a downstairs loo.

I just like the way it's all nooks and crannies and the way it's a proper family house all cluttered but loved.
