I thought the same about the lack of swearing (impressive I mean). I wonder if they were just aware that the cameras were on them and that their parents were gonna see it.
Sorry, I'm new to this thread...but I love the show. I don't know why but I'm hooked. FWIW, here are my opinions on them all...
Mum - what does does she do??! All she seesm to do is sit around in her dressing gown watching TV!! AND, she never helps with the discipline! Just expects poor Dad to do it all.
Dad - kind of like him, but cringe a bit when he's trying to be all authorative and they all just walk all over him. He's kind of sweet when he tries to talk things through with them, and always cuddles them etc. Mum is useless.
Emily - Pay some rent girl!!!
Charlotte - not seen enough of her but was touched at the episode where she wanted to leave school and she had the chat with Dad and he said he would cook a meal for her friends....ahhh.
Tom - stop frowning and eating coco pops....
And yes, it is very weird how the bathroom is accessed via parents bedroom....what if someone needs a wee in the night and they are...well, you know!!
