I have to confess to fancying Brendan a bit when he dances .

Love Kristina too. She is so sweet and an amazing dancer. Lilia and the Flav are still my faves though. I want to be them .

My taste in clothes gets all sparkly and glam when Strictly is on . Makes a change from my summer uniform of jeans and trainers.

I don't know ranting but I keep thinking now about the faces he must pull when shagging. Can you imagine ?

oh i agree Marina, it is great to see the slebs transform throughout the show. However i still want Rachel and Vincent to win, think Vincent and Flavia are the best choreographers..

I'm soooo glad that Gary has gone. I had visions of Don and John being in the dance-off.

I roffled at Gary's suggestion to do ballroom privately - and Karen's reaction!

I loved V+F's dance ... so sad about them. DH can't understand how they do it when they've so recently broken up.
Although I really enjoyed the prof rumba, it was a mad-facial-expressions-fest. Really have to wrok hard not to be distracted by them.

Will be interesting to see what Karen has to say about Gary on ITT tonight, wish Claudia would ask her about her weird boobs and whether it was just padding. But suspect that is not really suitable for a show broadcast at 6:30.

Glad they were out, esp as I had read an unreliable spoiler that it was Mark v Don and Mark had left.

As to Vincent and Flavia - sigh. I don't think anyone involved in Flaviagate last year has ever actually gone on record about what happened, have they?

So what exactly has Erin done to her hair and how can I do the same? Got a thread going here. Obviously don't want to look like Celine Dion/a horse like some less charitable MNers have said. I just like her dark brunette to golden highlights transformation. How can I have the same?!

I'm pleased Gary went too. He was weirdly bendy and snake hipped wasn't he? He seems really 'nice' (you know, I can't say he seems horrible or a smug twit like Brendan or James Jordan for example!) but really, really irritating. I kind of like Karen. I agree her boobs looked enormous though. DP even commented politely on what a nice body she has . Is she the only one with kids?

I've got a huge girl crush on Flavia too. I'm missing the Flavia/Matt excitement of last year.

I though Vincent and Flavia looked weirdly uncomfortable last night. I know some dances call for freezing hauteur but I though it looked like Flavia wouldn't make eye contact with old Vinny boy. I thought they were supposed to be dancing the dance of lurrrve, not really a moment for playing it cool.

Well I went right off Rachel last night with her 'Can't I do a back flip down the stairs?' comment. Ohhh get you love! Want Austin to win, with Don a close second (the don thing won't happen) but I do agree with Len when he said that Don was a one trick pony.

On the subject of Lisa...I don't want to be horrible but where/when was she a model? She's a nice looking girl and everything but she looks quite 'normal' to me...gives me hope if she managed to bed George Clooney! she has got a lovely figure though.

Just a thought though:

Anyone else think that there is some sort of dance fixing going on? Gary being given two latin dances to start with especially when he was so unbelievably awful with that first one. Then a second one. So obvious it was going to be as dreadful. Why not give him a chance to do a ballroom second? And John having two ballroom in a row. His latin is going to be awful, no? I have loved both his dances but is it a co-incidence he hasn't had to do a latin yet???

How do they decide who does what?

I did think it would have been difficult for John if he had been given the jive....
My children were feeling very, very sorry for Andrew's children after the headbanging incident - they told DH if that had been him they would never have been able to show their faces at school again.

I thought Vince and Flav looked uncomfortable too, particularly Flavia but i suppose Matt was in the audience though. They have split up now right? Would love to know the inside scoop on that, wonder if there'll be any such scandal this year!
