I thought the song Mark and Hayley danced to sounded horrendous ("Spice up your life") and added to the chaos.

I loved Johns dance. I agree with an earlier post, Kristina was very a clever choreographer. She stayed within his limits, played up to his personality and didn't make him look stupid. I laughed the whole way through. It was so entertaining. I know it wasn't good technically but you'd have thought the judges would acknowledge the entertainment value.

I agree re. James and Cheries dance. I felt they were trying to bring out the Wild West era rather than Hollywood Glam. The dress and song reminded me of Jodie Foster in Maverick.

I thought Heather fluffed her dance off. I'm sad Dom went.

Aleshas song is very catchy. I loved the whole performance.

Oh I really like that wee Fiat they had at their wedding.

Poor Darren and Lilia this year - both out early. Bet they'll both get good dancers next year.

Margo I thought Heather fluffed dance off too. I couldn't understand why the judges thought she was better than Don. Her samba was really flat and I thought it was worse than her first attempt.

And its unbelievable that Andrew Castle went through - he was awful!

Really? I thought Aleshas song was shit! I liked the tune but the lyrics are arse, it is like two songs fudged together (imo):

I thought Dons performance was great and am surprised they chose Heather. Agree Andrew should have gone, he is like dancing cardboard.

And Mark, I had to agree with the judges that it was bizarre to see something so beautiful move so strangely!!!

Their final dance was so sad and touching - such a contrast with Lillia's final dance with Dom last year, where she wouldn't let her near him and Darren came running on to rescue her.

I can't see why the judges picked Heather over Don. I thought he really picked it up in the dance-off and Heather was mcuh the same, if not flatter ... but what do I know??

I thought Alesha's song was catchy and I loved the performance - much better than when the sings stand at the back and the dancers dance in front of them - but I agree a bit with saggyhairyarse, it did seem like 2 songs stuck together ...

I'm glad that Heather got to stay, I don't think either of the 2 in the dance-off should have gone but, out of the 2, I wanted Don to stay.

I still don't understand how people walk in them! On the radio yesterday they were talking about that LaBoot person (them of the red soles) bringing out 8 inch heels (you can tell I get my shoes in Asda for a tenner can't you )

I was really sad to see Don go too. Poor Lilia looked heartbroken. Andrew Castle is a prize knob and he must go next week.

I didn't get why Lisa got marked so high either. Lovely dress and a competent dance but I don't think it was that amazing. I thought Austin was under-marked. I loved his dance.

Loved Rachel's green dress and matching eye-shadow combo.

I agree Cherie and James used weird music but I thought their dance was good.

Did anyone notice Arlene saying something about how someone (maybe Jodie?) danced tonight on the Sunday show when she was referring to the Saturday show. So is it all shot on Saturday night then?

I think they've given up any pretence of the results show being "live" on Sunday.

They film both shows on Saturday night. The voting closes quite soon after the show finishes - about 9pm say - then they film the results show as soon as the results are ready.

In the bit in between they film the other parts of the Sunday show e.g. the show dances, singing bits etc. Then they edit it all together before it goes out on Sunday.

The Sunday show is filmed on the Saturday night, and they do it all out of order and edit it together ... but the sleb dnaces at least are filmed 'as live' ie they don't get second chances.
