I thought this started on 20th Sept. DH reckons he's seen a trailer saying it is tomorrow!

Does anyone know anything about this????

Just seen the preview on BBC1 - loved the comment about Flavia and Matt going 'all the way' - referring to reaching last year's final of course! (well it made me giggle)

Flavia looked less impressed this year when she was introduced to her new partner

I wrote the message on here about missing the preview last night, turned TV on and it was being repeated right then!! I had missed the first half but was so chuffed to see some of it.

DS was jumping around excited but was disappointed when he realised it was all talking and no dancing and wanted his programmes on! I've sky+ it to watch later. Bliss.

Anyone got tickets to go?

Hoping that posts on here re SCD are a little less heated than on the BBC website - post on there at your peril.
Ditto Rachel Stevens, but I'm really hoping that Christine turns out to be OK, so we see plenty of Matthew Cutler again this year.
Does make me laugh when they meet their partners....some of the pros need to brush up on their "looking thrilled" acting.

Iwish...I also applied for tickets and haven't heard, but apparantly they let you know 2-4 weeks before, so depending on your date, you might have heard yet. I applied through 3 people for december dates, so won't know for ages yet.

I thought they picked them last week and sent them off then so I was gutted.

I'll be excited each time the postman comes for a few more weeks then!

I applied for Nov and Dec dates (well two of us did) am very excited about it! To see Mr Foster in the flesh would be truly spectacular. I'd have to muzzle myself not to whoop!

Oooh no i like Don Warrington too, but sadly I think he'll get voted off early as the voters tend to be quite ageist.

Nearly stopped watching last year as was so disgusted with the Gabby Logan debacle & Kate bloody Garraway.

Squeaver, I agree with you - Anton is divine! I saw him in dictionary corner on Countdown the other day - Susie was putty in his hands and unsurprisingly so!!

Following on the discussion about Erin - Dh and I think she's had her teeth whitened - along with the highlights etc.

I'm soooo excited that Strictly is back on - da da da da, da da daaa ... da da da da da!

Anton is hilarious, but not sure I would describe him as divine! He's gone down in my estimation though for hosting that appalling cookery programme thing...

I'm secretly hoping that Mark Foster is good, and Christine from the one show, also thought the rugby bloke seemed quite entertaining so he can stay. hated Lisa Snowdon in the preview though... all that "oh yes I did date George Clooney, did I mention that" was nauseating!

Laura - from the look of it Mark doesn't look that promising when it comes to dancing but he can appear in my bedroom anytime

Heather looks like she'll be good, she looks damn toned too.

SJM - I think Erin has bought new teeth altogether, not just had hers whitened. They are very large and American, whereas last year she looked very pretty but in a regular person sort of way. Don't like the big hair etc

Mr Foster - yum. And also Matthew Cutler - shame he's gay but one can dream. Cannot bear James Jordan as he always comes across as rather domineering and aggressive. Who's he got again?

Flavia is very beautiful, probably the best looking of the women, but the stomach is mind boggling. A six pack on a woman is a little scary

Roll on Saturday. Wonder what horror Tess will be in?

Dh fancies Karen Hardy - can't remember who she's got but she SO wants to win!

Please say that Mark can dance - if not he may be a Kate Garraway cos I'll certainly be voting for him every week!

Lol at Tess' outfits - don't like her anymore than I like Bruce. And they are sooo creepy together - stomach churning!

Hang on, is Matthew Cutler definately gay? was he not previously married to Nicole? Is this why they are no longer married? I also cannot stand James Jordan, very smug and self satisfied!

The pros make the show for me, I don't really mind who the slebs are, although I do think it's mean that Anton always gets a loser and Brendan Cole gets a lithe and sexy girl (errgghhh to Lisa and Kelly Brook) there should be a lucky dip for patners live on the BBC, if only because then Jodie Kidd and Vincent could be paired up!

I like Anton but he can be a bit too OTT at times. He usually gets paired with an older lady but he did have Patsy Palmer a few seasons ago, didn't they get to the semi? And he definitely got to the semi with Leslie Garrat in the first serise.

I think I'll have to back Austin (my cat is named after him) but it may only be for comedic purposes Oh, and so he/we don't have to put up with Matt Dawson crowing for the next ten years

In case anyone is interested here are the odds to win from William Hill ... not that you'd catch me taking it that seriously

Oh, and LauraT last year we pretty much decided that Matthew and Nicole Cutler had a marriage of convenience ... but that could be libel so I'd better add that there was no proof, just assumption ... Threads are here and here
