I'd love to see the behind the scenes bits where real musical types decide who stays and goes. I'll eat my hat if their letting Cheryl and her mate decide.

No no no she can't sing. She definitely isn't as good as she thinks she is.

I can't believe the groups were so bad that they had to manufacture one to make up the numbers.

When I auditioned I was in the groups room (as joined the groups queue as act with "special assistance requirements", twas very advantagious as I only waited for two hours unlike the majority of the rest of the solo acts who waited for at least 12 hours) there were several groups who imo really weren't that bad.

It's absolutely all fixed, but I do wonder what criteria it is they use to give people the yes or no.

oh and the deal with Alan is, apparently the woman who fostered him also fostered his mother. So technically she is his grandparent, but not through blood - through fostering.

But really who cares? The show trades on sob stories, so if this one isn't true then maybe they're just a bit miffed because he's played them at their own game.

Why were they all dressed so weirdly - v.over styled.

i have to agree re the Alan thing- they do encourage the sob stories, and the very staged 'chat' (Did you see Sinitta, pretending to look all shocked), was all part of the drama of the programme.

I thought Danniis song choices for her acts were truly dreadful, and sorry to be a kiljoy, but 'my wife died ' didn't have a great voice.He is bound to get through.. Felt a bit sorry for Louise.

Agree the girls are strong but i really think Simon has pretty much decided he wants Austin to win. I'm torn because i wanted Mali to go through, but think he may have blown it. The blue coat (scott?) stands a chance, but is a bit dull.

As for the groups- as i said last week, this format does them no favours. And i was v at louis implying the put together group should have given up their jobs to practice. They don't stand a chance of winning, so that would have been dumb!!
