Thanks for the new thread 🙂

Who voted for Bella? I feel she's the most likely to go If they murder her theu should push it as a possible double bluff.

James B or Sebastian (presumably he's the young man I'm clueless on who he is) who cause confusion. They mighr keep James for the tasks. Sebastian hasn't really appeared to contribute much - most likely staying.

@BobbiBiscuits re your mention on the previous thread about unconscious bias and black women being voted out - not on this occasion. She signed her own banishment notice because she winked at REG. Too many people noticed and thought it was wink from one traitor to another. That's why she was voted out. Nothing to do with colour or bias or anything like that.

Maggiethecat · Yesterday 22:24

Thanks @CaveMum

CatVester · Yesterday 22:24

I'd murder Sebastian on the grounds that he contributes nothing (Bella might be useful in future tasks) and it would be completely left field. Would definitely get people feeling a bit confused.

Agree. That was a really silly thing to do, and I say that as a non-white person. Also I don't think she had really built any alliances. Most of the others are starting to seem like they have friends/allies.

Richard voted for Bella which should indicate to the others that she is probably not a traitor. I wouldn't murder her because although she is thinking a lot she's mostly (wholly?) wrong.

However her defence was well considered, sensible and impassioned.

Perhaps they thought it was a good performance……

Julie had called her a traitor from the beginning. And as if an actual traitor would blink so unsubtly to another traitor who'd just been voted out, in a room full of people watching. I don't buy it. But still there we are.

CatVester · Yesterday 22:33

Come on, the wink was really odd. Very poor gameplay from her.

CatVester · Yesterday 22:34

Although I don't know why Julie had been set on her being a traitor before that, and that could well be unconscious bias.

Well that is the point. An actual traitor wouldn't have done that, for that reason.

Checking in.

Yeah but everyone thought an actual traitor would not admit to being a traitor.

They'd just seen a traitor admit to being a traitor! I can absolutely imagine someone a bit dim thinking nobody would notice.

Shinyandnew1 · Yesterday 22:55

I quite like Bella, but I don’t that she’s the amazingly clever sleuth some of those in the castle seem to have decided she is!

Pinkbox · Yesterday 22:55

If I am remembering correctly, both Blunt and Bella have been mentioned at least once by Faithfuls as potential traitors, so if I was in the turret I would be offing Bash. Those two having heat on them, even just a bit, can be used to the Traitors’ advantage. But I’m not sure they have been thinking that strategically (they may of course do this more now Hannah has arrived).

Thecows · Yesterday 23:04

It is

lettingthedaysgoby · Yesterday 23:04

Simply on screen-time I'm guessing we will lose Bella, sadly.

Hungrycaterpillarsmummy · Yesterday 23:17

I hope Bella goes. Not a fan.
I was outraged at even the suggestion of murdering James blunt. How dare they?! :o

And My'Hala shouldn't have been voted out. It's always the black women with or without cornrows. Unconscious bias, it's real.

No, it's nonsense, it's very consciously racist to imply black women should not be voted off because their colouri s their shield of protection! At what stage would you say black women can be voted off? What quota of black women should there be? Not everything can be twisted into race, as has been pointed out, and she herself acknowledged later, she signed her own death warrent by winking.
