I loved the bit with James Blunt in the shower, wearing his shower cap-he was obviously poking fun at himself.

Haha. Me too.
Hopefully not a spoiler for him going home though as with Daly and Freddie!

Miranda and Mr Sheen ought to be careful. By all means share your thoughts, but a bit sparingly. An idea here, a sentence there. Not full on. Or you get murdered. Especially if you are accurate.

Actually the pair would have made decent traitors.

Maya Jama is excelling as one. And has no need of anyone else to be in the tower with her. She could do it all on her own.

CompleteMere · Yesterday 13:06

I’d love to see Miranda and James B in the turret. The Head Girl and the Major just cutting swathes through whichever out of the lower orders who don’t quite come up to snuff. It’d be fun.

REG obviously took it too far but for me part of the fun of the Traitors is that the contestants are enjoying themselves (most of the time!). It’s not fun watching James A go through a real-time psychological crisis of conscious at having to be a traitor (in a game that’s literally called “traitors”?!).

I think Hannah is faithful-smart not traitor-smart. You can have theories and run probabilities as a faithful and less so as a traitor (because as a traitor you’re trying to influence a large number of people).

They should have recruited Amol, who is obviously a bit of an operator (I don’t mean that as a bad thing necessarily) rather than James A.

Hotdogsandfries · Yesterday 13:28

Loving James & Maya as Traitors.

I think they need to murder someone who has been really quiet and not too vocal so it seems left field to the faithfuls.

I am really not liking Julia and I’m disappointed in myself. 😂

This! Miranda and James B as traitors
Loved how he immediately took charge like he was still an army officer.

AlwaysExtraHot · Yesterday 14:14

I think James is toast, purely based on the fact that the last shot of him was the shower scene.
Pity if it is him; they may not do the missions so well without him organising them all. Ross likes to run about and shout, but he is so clearly not the real thing like JB is.

I totally agree with this: I’d love to see Miranda and James B in the turret. The Head Girl and the Major just cutting swathes through whichever out of the lower orders who don’t quite come up to snuff. Grin

I feel like Hannah is working out how to be a traitor, after a shaky start (which Miranda was so perceptive in noticing). I think she might get banished soon if she doesn't get right up to speed quickly though. Unless the suspicion of Jerry doesn't die down.

FallenNight · Yesterday 14:30

Surely the shower scene cannot be such an obvious clue that James is going?

I haven't a clue who they will murder. But I hope it is Sebastian, because I had to go back to the beginning of the thread to look up who the third person up for murder was. So clearly he is of least interest to me.

I like Blunt, I want him to stay and become besties with Miranda.

Bella I don't know much about either, so they can stay a bit longer.

drivinmecrazy · Yesterday 14:33

Im not sure Maya is being a great traitor.
surely if someone if vocal throughout the day, yet almost silent in the roundtable, would raise suspicions.

murasaki · Yesterday 14:36

Maya is definitely hampered by the other traitors.

Miranda is on it with reading people, but I agree with a pp, she needs to be judicious about what she shares.

I love Hannah, but she's been dealt a duff hand by Jerry and then the traitors, so she won't last long.

I keep forgetting Romesh is in there.

I like Bash, having never heard of him, but either he or Bella are gone. Bella isn't as smart as the others think she is, she just verbalise her thoughts well, even of their wrong.

I'm sure Michael will have a big part to play.

Ross is a constant source of hilarity. As is James B.

I hope James isn't toast - he is good value in the challenges, even if his guesses have been wrong. Agree RK is a fanboy, not the reality - without James either someone else with organising experience needs to step up or they will not get the full dollars each time.

I'm sorry REG has gone, he brought a bigger audience and added a degree of randomness. I agree with pp saying would be faithfuls will struggle as traitors and I suspect Hannah's life is now limited.

I also like the idea of Miranda/James as head boy and girl in the tower.

I'm not seeing where Bella is so much better at the game than anyone else. She won't be the first gamer to find out that the gaming experience outside doesn't not really help much in the tower and her guesses have been no better than anyone else's.

murasaki · Yesterday 14:39

Bella reminds me a bit of David last year, a well worked argument starting from a completely wrong point.

Duncantoldme2 · Yesterday 14:41

Bit bored and disappointed in it now. Very fickle. REG has gone - a shame but not surprising. It's duller without him. Maha'la voted off due to unconscious bias (don't care what others say, it was this. I am not a person to shout racism or ub at the drop of a hat, and usually find it too much, but here, it definitely was. The blink think is an easy excuse to say she asked for it. Rubbish.).

But all of that aside, will watch tonight and hope it improves again, and doesn't become the Maya show with traitors that don't want to eb traitors, and everyone else except Blunty and Miranda, being dull.

Did anyone else notice the glaring editing error over the breakfast scene last night? Poor.

Onwards and upwards, hope tonight is better!

FallenNight · Yesterday 14:48

@Duncantoldme2 what was the error?

Choccyp1g · Yesterday 14:48

Did the number of people in the breakfast room reduce at one point?

Daygloboo · Yesterday 14:48

CatVester · 08/10/2026 22:25

Agree. That was a really silly thing to do, and I say that as a non-white person. Also I don't think she had really built any alliances. Most of the others are starting to seem like they have friends/allies.

I dont think ive seen bias in any of them.in fact, it always seems to me a great example of ppl working together who are all different. It's one of the things i really like about it. Real team spirit between people .

I agree. That's not unconscious bias. Anyway, let's move on.

queenceleste · Yesterday 15:06

I think there is evidently unconscious bias in voting across the series to the extent that it’s been addressed openly in the media.

But I would argue in this case Maha’la had four counts against her which made her a slam dunk “pick me” for the voters.

  1. she’s young and less well known to the group maybe a bit like Nico (?)
  2. The wink - massive mistake at the table hugely suspicion causing
  3. The shield palaver - classic heat causing
  4. She’s very American and has a vibe which sort of curdles with the group somehow. She has a sort cultural outsider thing which neither Jerry or the Irish comedian has. I think the unconscious bias helps here but she has totally built her own guillotine
allthemind · Yesterday 15:10

She's pretty well known if you watch Industry, a show that has been on since 2020, which many of them mentioned.

No, what was it?

murasaki · Yesterday 15:22

I agree with all of this.

I did love her on uncloaked though, she was great.

HighSchoolLegWrestlingChampion · Yesterday 15:46

I think Jerry Hall might be my unlikely new hero, hence the name change!

Ross and Blunty must stay in for as long as possible.

Romesh feels very underused right now so wondering if thats a clue that he's in for the long haul.

Bella and Sebastian are such cute friends together.

JB in the shower...dead 😂.

queenceleste · Yesterday 16:03

I LOVE Romesh, Lycett and Beckett.

Romesh with his reasoning to REG was one of the most confident round table moments I’ve ever seen. So impressive. I love him.

I don’t think anyone discusses the Traitors better than these two. I only started watching the series because of them.

Who voted for Maha'la to be banished? I've lost track.

Off the top of my head Bella, Hannah, Blunty, Jerry, Julie, Romesh and Ross. But I think others did too.
