I absolutely love James A wanting to get the other James out to reclaim his name 😆

Needtosoundoffandbreathe · Yesterday 00:32

We're led to believe it's Blunty or Bella going. I'd like Blunty to stay in. He's great for the challenges. His theory was totally wrong, but he's funny.

The Rest is Entertainment were talking about the Traitors before it aired and said that the less well known contestants would be voted out first because many of the others would know each other IRL and that would save them from being voted out. My'Ala was always going to go out early.

I'm really enjoying Jerry, Joanne, Ross, James Blunt and Joe. Quite a few haven't featured much at all. Its the age old problem of the Faithfuls again, those who amuse and stick their necks out will be voted out and those who sit on the fence will stay until the end.

I didn't know who Bella was until my DC told me she's the Worst Witch. I'm a bit lost as to why she is perceived as being one of the smartest in there. She's not doing anything to warrant this opinion or am I missing it entirely?

MrsLargeEmbodied · Yesterday 05:35

please let James Blunt stay
he is funny
Bash should go or Bella
and at least there is no POC in the line up

I'm also unclear about why Bella is perceived as especially smart. I don't think she's not smart. But I don't see any evidence of her being especially smart.

<<whispers>>I was a bit bored last night once Richard had gone. Hoping the series picks up again soon but not as good as last year yet is it? Hope I have to eat my words!

CaveMum · Yesterday 06:48

Morning all. Just caught up with Richard and Marina from last night and agree on the following points they made:

Hannah = not a good recruitment choice
Blunty = total cavalry officer energy, should go (of the 3) but probably won’t
Ross Kemp (full name) = Tank Regiment

The 3 murder picks are a poor choice. They need to cause chaos so you do that by picking off someone no one would even think of. That’s the point of the murders - get rid of the people who are unlikely to be banished!

Od keep Blunt in just to make sure we get as much money as possible.

Bella, ehhhh, she can go. Not useful, too emotional.

If they got rid of Sebastian, Bella would be furious and possibly push harder for Hannah.

Although the final."let's cause chaos" rather implies is James B going.

Julie had called her a traitor from the beginning. And as if an actual traitor would blink so unsubtly to another traitor who'd just been voted out, in a room full of people watching. I don't buy it. But still there we are.

To be fair, while winking at another traitor would be a bit silly, so would saying “I’m a traitor” and they already had one do that!

I don’t think it was so much the wink anyway, but the strong defence followed by a change of mind when that was the way the wind was blowing. I agree her defence was logical, but what else are you going to go on at that point?

I don’t know why Julie thought it from the beginning.

MightyCarrot · Yesterday 07:02

I'd be really surprised if Bash/Seb doesn't get murdered from that selection

Hopefully the fact we haven't seen much of Rom, Michael Sheen or James B mean that they're in it for the long haul.

I loved that they picked Hannah to recruit but Miranda would have been a brilliant choice too.

Really, there is no way of telling who is a traitor - except the energy shift that Miranda has so amazingly picked up on; or unless in REG style, they tell you!

I'm not sure about the unconscious bias effect with Myha'la (that daft wink!) but I think statistically it does show in the analysis of the programme that women and anyone non-white are more at risk in the first banishments and murders.

MegCleary · Yesterday 07:11

James Blunt had the shower scene, same as Tom Daley ….. just putting that down there….

ForAmberPoster · Yesterday 07:33

Watching the reaction to Richard’s initial “I’m a traitor” - I find it odd that everyone didn’t just laugh rather than instantly believe him and tell everyone. His going is a loss. Odd too that no one has picked up on Rob and Rom being friends - they’d be ideal traitors together but it’s not been suggested. My favourites are Jerry, James B and Ros

Knowing his sense of humour he probably asked the producers to do it!

I found Richard a big disappointment so I'm glad he is out. Also pleased poor Hannah, who has been given a terrible game, mostly from the the decisions of others, got at least one more day.

I think they should have murdered Miranda to confuse everyone. Also I'm finding her annoying!

It was definitely done in a 'knowing' way. I hope JB stays in, he's funny.

On the other hand what is the point of Jerry? Is there really a school girls' leg wrestling championship in Texas? It sounds pornographic but nothing would surprise me.

DobbyTheHouseElk · Yesterday 07:54

I agree that Bella doesn’t seems particularly clever, but I don’t really know who they are.

My Teen DC is very excited to see them in the castle and tells me Bella is known to be incredibly intelligent….

CatVester · 08/10/2026 22:24

I'd murder Sebastian on the grounds that he contributes nothing (Bella might be useful in future tasks) and it would be completely left field. Would definitely get people feeling a bit confused.

But it’s quite well known that players that contribute nothing usually stay in until the bitter end!

I think Miranda is one of the only decent players…

Hannah was such s poor choice as traitor. Much as I love her they should have murdered her as she’s clever. It’s always clever ones who put theories forward who are vulnerable. As a traitor you need the thickest faithfuls left at the end. Alan Carr was lucky last year not to get rumbled as the faithfuls left were clever. I guess it’s because he has such a unique warm personality.

I would kill Bella. She put forward a strong criticism of My’Hala. A traitor wouldn’t put her neck out like that. She is obviously a faithful who can influence the group.

But picking Hannah as a traitor DOES leave the “thickest” faithfuls………

For Alan, I think his success was down to murdering Paloma.

After that unintentional genius move, I don't think he was suspected at all.

She is a good player, I just find her really fake. Which says more about me than her of course. By murdering her they would have confused everyone because I don't think she is being open about her theories yet.

I agree. I was surprised to find myself feeling a bit bored too as I've always enjoyed watching it.

I think it's basically because there are no big personalities left. Last year there were people like Jonathan Ross, Stephen fry and of course Alan carr, but this year, well now that Richard's gone so early they are all a bit "samey". I do hope that as it goes on, people will stand out more.

For the first time in all series I don't get the feeling that the traitors are loving being traitors, James acaster is such a reluctant traitor, and that makes a difference to the feel of it too.

Would’ve been much better if REG stayed in! He really shot himself in the foot
