Wow, we got through the last thread pretty quickly! (Again!)

So Betsy is still recovering from her stroke, Debbie's condition (dementia) is getting worse.

Tim and Sally still have Tim's cousin Ross's daughter Lucy in their care as Ross killed his wife - Lucy's mother, and is in prison... Or so we have been lead to believe. There's a question mark over whether Ross did kill Lucy's mum at the moment, (or if it was Lucy!) after Lucy spoke to her dad the other night and said 'what if they found out what I did!' Sally is struggling with Lucy, especially after she threw her phone at Sally and hit her in the face.

Sarah is still in prison, (for killing Theo,) and hasn't had her trial yet. She has finished with Kit, who went on to sleep with her daughter Bethany!

Bernie's aunt (Celeste) who was trying to get Todd to do a funeral for her, died a few weeks ago, but not before dropping the bombshell that she has breast cancer, and Bernie may have the gene. So may Gemma and the quads, and Kit, and Brody...

Kit was tested. He has breast cancer. He is devastated - (naturally.)

Carl has just got a job in the cab office.

Probably missed some stuff!

I mentioned this in the last thread, but I can't remember if Todd did ever do Celeste's funeral by the way... She's been dead nearly 4 weeks now. I don't think they've mentioned her funeral for about 3 weeks. And I definitely don't remember them doing it.......

Why was Tim grassing his cousin up?

Surely the first thing the police would have done is check if the pub had been robbed, which of course it hadn't.

She’s awful a terrible actress! Do we think Nick will discover Sam has got his phone back and put 2 and 2 together? Anyone else understand what Carla was trying to do with Betsy? Not sure where that storyline is going ? When is Kit having op? Surely being far fetched Corrie he would have had it by now. Thought Gemma was totally underwhelmed by his news only concerned for herself

Where have Leanne and slimy Idris gone? Surely she would have been at Eva’s bedside as isn’t she her sister?

Seems daft to me that Betsy is applying to College at this point. She is still so unwell that she has hardly left the house. How on earth is she likely to be able to follow a course yet? Where is this storyline leading, is she going to suddenly have a miraculous recovery?

Three months until Christmas. Maybe all the dull stories will finish up then.

I haven’t seen anyone hand cash over for a pint in the Rovers for years! But I suppose they would still have float?

I seem to remember when they found this wonderful course they said it started in January, which struck me as a bit strange.

Was Carla's venture aiming to get Betsy ready for an interview at the college?

The obvious solution would be to defer her existing course for a year.

I don't think she is that bad but she has too many scenes where she is just shouting and screaming and now sleepwalking with shouting and screaming.

They have not given her a chance to build the character, the few scenes where she talks to Tom or Sal have been OK

She has arrived as a mad interloper and everyone is fed up with her

I'm thinking he has stopped taking his medication as he seems to be having another setback.
I find this storyline quite disturbing, but probably because my mum had schizophrenia and had times when she refused her medication. I was only a child when I witnessed her erratic behaviour.

Im sorry youre finding it difficult. I do find it realistic though. Either, Sam's stopped taking his medication, or the dose needs adjusting. Them getting it settled so quickly wasn't realistic. IME it needs frequent reviewing and adjusting.

I’ve seen spoilers on Sam’s storyline but it’s not to do with meds. Though the schizophrenia is not a true storyline. I’m a mental health nurse and he wouldn’t get that diagnosis after one episode of psychosis. It would be FEP (first episode of psychosis) and he’d be followed up by Early Intervention in Psychosis services.
