Wow, we got through the last thread pretty quickly! (Again!)

So Betsy is still recovering from her stroke, Debbie's condition (dementia) is getting worse.

Tim and Sally still have Tim's cousin Ross's daughter Lucy in their care as Ross killed his wife - Lucy's mother, and is in prison... Or so we have been lead to believe. There's a question mark over whether Ross did kill Lucy's mum at the moment, (or if it was Lucy!) after Lucy spoke to her dad the other night and said 'what if they found out what I did!' Sally is struggling with Lucy, especially after she threw her phone at Sally and hit her in the face.

Sarah is still in prison, (for killing Theo,) and hasn't had her trial yet. She has finished with Kit, who went on to sleep with her daughter Bethany!

Bernie's aunt (Celeste) who was trying to get Todd to do a funeral for her, died a few weeks ago, but not before dropping the bombshell that she has breast cancer, and Bernie may have the gene. So may Gemma and the quads, and Kit, and Brody...

Kit was tested. He has breast cancer. He is devastated - (naturally.)

Carl has just got a job in the cab office.

Probably missed some stuff!

I mentioned this in the last thread, but I can't remember if Todd did ever do Celeste's funeral by the way... She's been dead nearly 4 weeks now. I don't think they've mentioned her funeral for about 3 weeks. And I definitely don't remember them doing it.......

She was in the fire and was taken to hospital

someone mentioned that Sam has three step mums! Was a bit confused by this. Eva and Toyah are related then ? Just things like that , but I do Google things and so on.

I always get confused about Eva, Toyah and Leanne. I think Eva and Leanne have the same mum but different dads. Toyah is Leanne's step sister I think - Les being Leanne's dad, Janice being Toyah's mum. Eva and Toyah aren't related from what I can make out but are both connected by Leanne. I might be wrong.
It's all very confusing!!

Yes thats right, Toyah and Leanne are stepsisters, they were raised together from a very young age. Stella arrived to run the Rovers with her husband Karl and her daughter Eva but she had an ulterior motive, it turned out that she was Leanne's long lost mum and she came to Wetherfield to get to know her before revealing who she was.
Toyah and Eva have no real connection other than Leanne, but the three of them consider themselves 'sort of' sisters.
Of course they all have Nick in common too!

Why Carl was so exhausted’ working ‘ in the cab office was a mystery. Seems it’s more to do with buying the right biscuits than anything else according to Steve’s rules.

Im sure running the cab office is mentally draining. It seems very busy.
Carl should set himself up as an uber driver in competition.

Nick and Eva were together before Nick knew of Sam’s existence - he only found out about Sam when he was with Leanne and her son (with Steve) was unwell, I believe. So he never saw Eva in the same way he sees Leanne and Toyah.
could you imagine living cheek by jowl with so many exes and their new/previous partners and people you/they had had one nighters with. It’s like some free love hippy commune without the nudity.

They also live round the corner to their ex’s on Eastenders as well and often they go to each other’s weddings and christenings. Many people I know loath their ex’s and it would end up in a punch up.

Nick and Leanne and Eva have had a lot of relationships. Toyah too...although Spider is her true love. Did Eva ever have a thing with Peter? Toyah and Leanne have been with Peter and Nick and Imran the solicitor who worked with Adam?Imran who is the father of Abi's baby.

I don't think this happens in my street.

Eva is Sam's sort of step auntie via both his step mums or maybe his falling down the steps auntie

All the in law shagging is one of those 'only in soaps' things - it happens so often and nobody really comments on it

I've got a friend whose daughter and niece have the same father. The girls are less than a year apart in age. They think it's cute!
