All he did was chop fruit and add flavour to the cream (not enough). The pastry was shop bought. He must have had ages doing nothing!

Oh I missed the pastry being shop bought. That's disappointing, especially when 2 of the girls made choux from scratch.

After eight hours in A&E yesterday, I felt I had observed enough of my fellow men in all their infinite variety so I just read your comments (illuminating as ever!) and have decided to swerve the actual episode. Life's too short. I pobably wouldn't have seen it anyway as I was supposed to be wrangling children while their parents went to a gig. Who got eliminated?

I think it looked disgusting. I love yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes but not with gravy poured all over them.

It was like the nightmare child of a doner kebab spit, but made of Yorkshire puddings - which must surely have been cold and claggy once assembled. It felt as though slices should have been carved off like a doner kebab too.
