I’m guessing we’ll get 2 women and 1 man as the initial Traitors and hoping the Secret Traitor has been binned.

I knew who she was in theory, but had never actually seen her in anything. I was distracted by her heels on the way into the church -- her feet seemed to be sliding around inside them. And by the fact that she wore the trenchcoat for the whole rest of the evening indoors. I get that it was a designer thing, and she's got the height and bones to look great in that kind of shape, but it was also giving me slight 'designer condom' vibes when worn indoors?

As far as my 14 year old is concerned, everyone else is just a middle-aged acolyte for King Kenny.

Is King Kenny a big deal? I have no idea who he is.

We spent our entire childhoods having rival crushes. For one Wimbledon, our shared bedroom was in a standoff between Stefan Edberg and Ivan Lendl.

If you're 14 and think of TV as a washed up medium for middle-aged people who really want to be 'content creators', he is! Apparently.

DS is still annoyed that Nico, last year's content creator, went out so early. He feels the producers need to do better this year.

Mind you, who listens to him? He's met Jerry Hall, who is a neighbour of an old colleague of DH's, and thinks of her as just Tim's neighbour, like she'd popped over for a loan of cup of sugar. I think he thinks I'm inventing her fame and status as icon. Because no one's neighbours are interesting, unless they're King Kenny.

Neither do I.

God, I feel old now.

My Gen Z kids don't know who Jerry Hall or James Blunt is. They knew REG because of "Saltburn". Not sure if they know King Kenny.

I thought King Kenny meant Kenny Dalgleish so that’s how down with the kids I am

I know, right! I need to make DS watch Withnail and I or something. He has taken against REG, despite DH and I saying he's in an iconically funny film. And he also took against James Blunt but that might be because of DH's rendition of 'You're Beautiful', which was epically horrifying.

We’re obviously going to need a mid-show thread change so I’ll get one ready to go as soon as we get close to the limit. Like last year I’ll put the players’ status in the opening post but to avoid being accused of spoiling anything I won’t say who has been murdered/recruited.

My favourite REG role is, genuinely, in Spice World.

I am trying to get DH to leave the house so I have the TV to myself.

I often wonder why it’s never been on streaming

He grew up in the same village as me, but much younger, and he used to pop into the village shop. Seemed pleasant enough.
When his sister was married, the sky was full of press helicopters, very silly.

He was good in that film.

It was fabulous. Set me up for my soft spot for tall, skinny blokes for life!

I couldn't see past Sebastian's mint-green cardie, which I found mesmerising. Mind you, I'd probably have lasted longer than three episodes with Game of Thrones if there were more mint-green cardies and fewer rapes/disembowellings and swordfights.

That's a good point, although it could be a motive for booting him out as quite a few admitted in pre match interviews that they would love to be a traitor, so they'd be hoping for a chance. Its different to the ordinary traitors in that some of the celebs really want the TV time that being a traitor gives them.

I think REG is a bit of a notice box and dropped the clanger to get everyone talking about him.. and then all the post clanger convos. Even if not on purpose it still worked.
I'm annoyed with REG for picking on Acaster, he's so funny. Hope he's still in. the town of Kettering and Kettering FC will be gutted if he isn't.

My 14 year old (who is a huge Heartstopper fan) said Sebastian reminded them of Princess Di in that jacket, and I couldn't unsee it!

My DC didn't know James Blunt, Jerry Hall or REG. I was trying to explain the "We've gone on holiday by mistake" bit and wondered how Withnail had aged.

They knew King Kenny and are hoping he gets vengeance for Nico.
