Well seeing as I did the threads last year I might as well kick things off again for 2026 now that the first teaser trailer has dropped.

I’m guessing we’ll get 2 women and 1 man as the initial Traitors and hoping the Secret Traitor has been binned.

Will the Big Dog Theory come back? Will we get another Nick/Joe style bromance?

The thing about Traitors is that the casting agent(?) has managed to find a broad selection of participants such that a TV viewer from teen to pensioner probably knows at least 1/3 of the celebs (and there is a fighting chance that there will be a good overlap).

I’m still not sure who is going to be coffined tonight. I imagine that either candidate will be annoyed.

I'd agree with this. Most folk on the planet would have heard the song "You're Beautiful" as opposed to having definitely come across the actors and comedians.

DD (14) only really knew Sebastian and Miranda. I explained who everyone else was (another comedian / a famous actor etc) and she just had to take my word for it all. When it came to JB I just had to say the name of that song and she 'knew' who he was.

It is a game though so of course she is

Which in itself tells you its the hot reality ticket for celebs by comparison with eg the diminishing celeb casts for Strictly and other celeb reality shows.

I wonder how long they can maintain its top billing?

I would like to see Amol stay in but I suspect it won't be him.
