it was filmed right at the beginning of May, I have a dc who told me that they had seen one of them on their way to Inverness (from a private airport) and later that day the bbc released the cast list. I presume it was released on the day all the contestants were flying up there.

did anyone else notice that Jerry hall didn’t get in the water and instead seemed to stay on dry land with the crow bar?! Apologies if this has been said already, I feel like I have read the whole thread but it was fast moving!

He's 5'8". That's not tall, but it's only about an inch shorter than average for a British man; not what I'd call objectively short. Still taller than the average British woman.

Poor REG. I started off thinking that he was trying to do something "clever"- surely the last person who would say they were a traitor would be an actual traitor?- but actually I think he just couldn't control himself, a bit like Alan Carr couldn't say "I'm a faithful" without laughing last time. Suspect he'll be the first one banished which is a shame as he's fun to watch.

I hope either James Blunt or Miranda win.

I'm loving it so far, but family are scattered and behind so I hope they find a way to catch up before this evening. Richard will forever be "Withnail" for me. I reckon he'll stay in for a couple more episodes, before the Traitors turn on him for their own safety. I'm going with "idiotic (green room) mistake", rather than something more cunning.

There were a few bits in the press when this was being filmed (didn't they have photos of contestants getting off the plane?) and I do agree that it was May time (had the mainstream Traitors only just finished, as I think I commented on that thread?). Presumably they ALL have to stay put at the hotel for the whole 3 weeks of filming (or maybe they are sent off on a remote holiday by private flight), otherwise surely somebody would pipe up to say they'd seen REG in Petersham etc.

From my memory of last year, I think some of the youngsters slip under the radar as the older ones are too busy catching up with people they know or admire, but that could be down to the editing.

Traitors always need a useful idiot to do their bidding and they must be a Faithful. Too early in the game to work out which one of the Faithfuls that could be.

Last year it was two Faithfuls, David Olusoga and Nick Mohamed to one Traitor, Carr who won.

Nick did say that he, regretfully, was the useful idiot.

Well, the foliage certainly bears out the time of year.

This always amuses me because poor Claudia has to keep up the woolly jumpers, leather jackets and tweedy jackets aesthetic but was probably boiling.

In fairness, May is not necessarily warm in the highlands! Everyone looked certainly pretty warmly clad in the castle, from what I remember -- I didn't actually think it was that unlikely that whoever it was (Leigh-Anne?) rubbed Ross Kemp's shoulder because she was cold.

I think she might have done it knowing how discombobulated he was about the hat. To increase his paranoia. I want everyone to randomly pat him or something for a bit.

He is bisexual. He says so on lots of his earlier shows.

Except that it is hard to imagine REG keeping that a secret 😉
