George is so ill-matched with Nicola. There is no point pretending she's changed, he's like a lamb to the slaughter.

Interesting that Sean is returning. I wasn't a big fan but it's ages since we have seen him. At this rate there will be no past characters who haven't made a (pointless) return!

Presumably this paves the way for Stacey to come back at the end of the year or beginning of next.

It looks like he might already be filming, so back quite soon. But Lacey won't be back yet surely as she's in Strictly. I doubt she'd do both at the same time with such young kids at home. I hope there isn't a Zoe-type 'mini return' for her and then she turns up two months later, that was really crap.

I was thinking some kind of phased return since Strictly and EE are filmed in the same studios.

We know Zoe is leaving but it was never confirmed if she was going to be killed off. But she definitely will be:

I feel like we're missing half the story with Craig and Amy. A grown man joking "we'll just run away together" with a teenager! It's so creepy. Dread to think where they're going with this.

Unsure about Nicola's family. Are they trying to show autism runs in the family.

I can live with Ravi leaving if Sean is coming back. Surely that means Stacey will be back around the same time.

Wow Sean seems a lot..heavier than I remember. I can’t really recall any of his storylines except for the Christmas day episode when it was revealed he was not Amy’s dad and then he kidnapped her.

I wasn’t mad about Sean, he reminds of someone in real life, maybe that’s why I didn’t like him. I really like young Denis back when him and Sharon were falling in love, Denny had a softer side, bad boy soft heart vibe. I got a hateful vibe from Sean.

I get the feeling Nicola killed her farher, just a guess. I wasn’t expecting her mother to describe her father as a good man.

I follow Rob Kazinsky on Instagram. It seems he does struggle with up and down weight. He was on a strict regime last year for a part because he had put weight on.

I can hardly believe how much Patricia Potter, who played Diane Lloyd in Holby, has changed. It was a shock to see her playing the potty sister in Eastenders, I hope she improves.

The highlight of his career - strip naked to get into a bath advertising British Summer Time clocks time change .

He did work in the USA
Which was why his last appearance was a Teams type episode .

I'm not a Sean fan , he was nasty and dirty/grubby but not in a good way .
There was always an untone to him that he was taking the piss and out for himself .

I bet that Sean being a bit heavier won’t receive the hate that Zoe did online when she returned last year!
I didn’t like the character much , but may be interesting to see what they do with him. Where will he live ?

It’s so hard to stay slim once you’re past 40!

He hasn’t worked that much since Covid so perhaps that’s factored into his decision to return.

Talking about returning, Teddy Jumpers made a fleeting appearance in today’s episode.

It’s over a month since we found out Zoe was being killed off, and ISTR Michelle had already finished filming. And she's still at Lynne's! So it’s going to be a very sudden death! I see Kat is still in leopard print.

The Sun has also reported Shane is not being suspended, he was just given a talking to. I imagine that is because Alfie because has to be around in the aftermath of Zoe’s death so a suspension would be very inconvenient.

Yes Sean was a very lithe young man when he was in it originally, he does look a lot heavier. I don’t remember him having stellar acting skills and I never really liked him. He was a bit grubby and sneery.

I agree Nic killed her father. There’s a lot of it about in EE.

Oh defo , the mum was in denial over Nicola’s abuse as a child and Nicola killed her dad . It’s only a big guess , but it’s being signposted isn’t it and mum cleariy isn’t a fan of hers. Whatever went on, it’s obvious there is a big problem .

There could be a slight twist. So Jodie killed the dad and Nicola covered it up and took the blame. Jodie seems fairly keen on violence! Anyway, one of them certainly did!

May be that Jodie did something. The mum isn’t keen on Nicola at all. Didn’t Nicola say she didn’t believe her about the dad being abusive ? Gemma was giving off Tina Carter vibes. I had the idea she’d be more of a tough nut, but looks are deceiving in a photo.
I wonder when the others show up ?

If one of them killed their dad we've currently got 5 dead dads at the hands of their kids. Ravi and his two dads, Jasmine and her two dads, and Nicola. I assume she only killed one dad. That a lot even by EE standards😆

Jodie seemed to be instigating the violence towards the bloke-in-the-boot .
Maybe she's into violence providing she doesn't get her hands dirty

Maybe the Dad of the three sisters started on Jodie and Nicola killed him .
She's said on a few occasions how her Mum blamed her (Nic) for winding the Dad up and she didn't believe her when she told her what was going on.

Dads do badly on EE and rarely are they good role models, although George isn’t that terrible and Vinny is trying ( until he discovers its not his baby )
We find out more today about Nic.
I wonder if they know that Zac is Barney’s dad , but I don’t think they do. Gemma is defo a Tina type.

And her hair in that photo is pre-chopped up mullet ,
That is a very drastic change of hair when she must know the scenes that have been filmed are going to be a high profile story ......

Unless the choppy cut is a wig and there's a (bonkers) reason she's wearing it ?.

Annie looked different today. No sign of Ollie and linda didn’t say who would care for him. Elaine was with Ivy.
