The Denise/Darnell thing was uttterly ridiculous. “It’s hell for me being here with all the machines going off” well you could have given a cheek swab in the cafe, mate.

Mind you, Denise’s script wasn’t much better. “I did come looking for you, years ago. But I didn’t send Jack to look for you because I didn’t know you existed”. OK.

If they needed to ramp up the tension with Darnell it should have been something like: he had a terrible reaction to an anaesthetic, as a child. He mistakenly thinks he will need to go under anaesthetic to help Denise. Finally he is reassured that donating stem cells is quick and simple and doesn’t need anaesthetic <and so ends the public service announcement>.

She said she went looking for their dad. Not Darnell himself!

Totally agree. Why he is actually spending so much time in the hospital is beyond me. A cheek swab can be done anywhere. And blood can be given at a GP surgery.

So she did. Oops.

Priya needs to have a termination and be done with it. There is absolutely no need or sense for her to have Max Brannings baby.

It will make Max a 4 x 4, just like Phil

Well.. I would just like to say, NYD 2026 I called my mum and said “that’s Priya pregnant in Max’s bed” and she said “Max and Priya don’t even know each other” to which I replied… just , you , wait. “Licence for those heels” told me all I needed to know. He manifested the impregnation in that moment. Here we are, if the storyline changes now and she terminates this baby and it’s someone else pregnant in his bed, I’ll eat my hat. At this point, maybe it’s all too obvious that Ravi is holding Lauren and Oscar hostage with the gun, leading to his impending exit. He’s definitely not marrying Cindy next week, and Peter hates him because he humiliates her. So, who is the bride? I love the Chelsea theories, they’ve got me.

Eastenders is really making me sick with the storylines at the moment. Not liking the Amy and Craig storyline. Craig seems so slimy. It’s like they think this characters had a tough storyline (lost her mum, self harm etc) but that isn’t enough let’s make her suffer more resulting in the character leaving.

The Priya/ Max baby. Wonderful way to destroy Priyas character. Whoever wrote that needs their head checked. Even Priya and Mark would have been better.

The Amy grooming story is sickening. I bet many will stop watching. It’ll be even worse when Zoe dies too with the grief and Jean being evicted is sad , but Suki has had enough and they owe her lots of money.
I suppose the new family will buy the house and goodness knows where Jean and co will go !

I wouldnt have Max’s baby. She can do it now and hang on to Ravi, but obviously she won’t.

Wow. I didn’t know that. I was thinking that Jack was really playing down the operation.

Noo! Max, I just couldn’t have his child! He is far too flaky and unreliable and Ravi will probably try and kill him .. it’s all too much. She won’t though, unless pregnant woman NYD is someone else.

I don't think Priya is anti abortion. She was intending to have a termination initially. And now she's going to have a Maxalike she doesn't really have much choice if she wants to stay with Ravi. But as you say 80s it looks as if she keeps it!

@EmeraldShamrock000 I know, I was really surprised too. I hate medical procedures but it really isn't a drama is it!

So Zoe finally got a mention today in the (lack of) 'build up' to her death.

Both of em are slappers! Gotta give them the same judgement as women get!

It does seem mad she would go ahead with the pregnancy given her kids are almost adults, but I guess everyone has their own reasons. I do think two of the same storyline is a bit much. Surely Ravi can work out it is likely not his.

I need to watch the episode again, but weren't Chelsea, Cindy and Linda all holding up/wearing wedding dresses?

And yes it will actually be six kids. We'll the ones he knows about anyway. He's a bit of a Biris Johnson isn't he?

Going back to the flash forward, all of the men are wearing pale blue ties so that’s obviously the colour theme.
In the wedding pictures for the upcoming wedding that the BBC posted yesterday, Cindy’s bouquet has pale blue flowers in it (although Max is wearing a darker blue tie).

Something happens to stop the September wedding but he’s still marrying Cindy on New Years Day.
I think we can discount Linda as being the bride as they’d be wearing pink ties.

I think Linda is getting a separate exit story which won't really involve Max.

I still think it must be Cindy he is marrying on NYD. It definitely isn't Chelsea or Denise, and very unlikely to be Linda.

And it's unlikely Cindy will forgive him for Priya (she will find out of course) so she is probably pretending to forgive him while setting him up with whatever-it-is-he's-arrested-for.
